No. 23 of 1952. The Petroleum
(Amendment) Regulations, 1952.
No. 24 of 1952 The Nevis Pub-
lic Library Rules, 1952.
No. 25 of 1952. Proclamation
appointing the 6th October 1952
as the date for a General Election.
No. 28 of 1952 The Hotels
Aid Regulations, 1952.
No. I of 1953. The Landing of
Animals Prohibition Order, 1953.
No. 2 of 1953. The Foot and
Mouth Disease (Landing Prohibi-
tion) Regulations, 1953.
No. 3 of 1953. Proclamation
appointing a planting season and
a close season for cotton in the
island of St. Christopher.
No. 4 of 1953. The Occupa-
tional Diseases Regulation, 1953.

It is notified for general in-
formation that His Honour the
Acting Administrator has ordered
that a public pound be estab-
lished in the yard of Mr. Joseph
A. Harrigan at "The Copse" in
the island of Anguilla and that
the Public Pound in the yard of
the late Thomas Lake in the said
area be abolished.

The Administrator has been
pleased to appoint Mr. W. E
Wall, to be Chairman of the
St. Kitts Nevis Transport Board
with effect from 15th March, 1953.

The Secretary of State .has in-
formed the Governor that the
Queen will not be advised to
exercise her powers of disallow-
ance in respect of the following
Ordinance:-
No. 9 of 1952 Cinematographs
(General Legislature Competen-
cy) (Repeal) Ordinance, 1952.

26th March, 1953.
The following telegram which
was despatched to His Excellen-
cy the Acting Governor yester-
day is published for general
information.
The news of Queen Mary death
has been received here with deep
regret. I shall be grateful if
Your Excellency will convey to
Her Majesty the Queen, on be-
half of the peoples of this Presi-
dency our respectful and sincere
sympathy to Her Majesty and
other members of the Royal
Family in their bereavement.
Acting Administrator.
Her Majesty the Queen has
commanded Court Mourning for
one month that is, until the 25th
April 1953.
Flags will be flown at half
mast until after the date of the
funeral.
