I en-US have been practicing law longer than either of my opponents. en-US In 2004, I joined the 7 percent of all Florida lawyers when I en-US became a board-certified civil trial lawyer. I am the only en-US board-certified candidate in this race. I currently represent en-US individuals and businesses throughout the Treasure Coast en-US and in Okeechobee and Palm Beach counties. Currently more than half of all our judges en-US worked as criminal prosecutors. Although criminal law en-US experience is important, the responsibilities of circuit judgen-US-en-US es include much more than criminal cases. Large civil cases, en-US divorces, injuries, juvenile issues and estates are all on the en-US docket. I have experience in all of these areas and am ready en-US to get to work in any assignment on day one.en-US Robert B. Meadowsen-US What is your full name and age?en-US Robert B. I was a local law enforcement officer for 16 years en-US and then became an attorney practicing at the state and federen-US -en-US al levels, giving me unique and diverse hands-on experience of en-US all aspects of the courtroom. This wide spectrum gives me a en-US solid foundation to be an excellent judge.en-US Education: undergraduate degree, Barry University, en-US Miami; Juris Doctor, Appalachian School of Law. en-US Employment History: local law enforcement officer for 16 en-US years; private practice attorney for 13 years covering criminal en-US law, family law and civil litigation. Where is Congress and what are en-US they doing about the president's latest repreen-US -en-US hensible mandate that the ACLU take on en-US responsibilities in this sinful chaos brought en-US about by Trump's shameful treatment of en-US immigrant families seeking asylum?en-US Because this is written days before it will en-US be published, the matter may be moot, as en-US wiser, more stable minds may have again en-US pulled the president from the precipice of en-US disaster.en-US The president's unlawful actions in blanen-US-en-US ket refusal of asylum to thousands of our en-US desperate neighbors to our south, and his en-US zero tolerance stance on immigration has en-US torn families apart and done irreparable en-US damage to them. A product of a Christian en-US (Catholic) education, I heard early and en-US often, "The family is the basic unit of socien-US -en-US ety." Because of the current president's disen-US -en-US regard for any people or persons who do not en-US meet his criteria for acceptance to his limiten-US -en-US ed and pigment dominated ideas, he has en-US treated people, running from unbearable en-US oppression and danger as less than his equal. en-US True, the president is not their equal, en-US because he has been blessed with American en-US citizenship and a charmed life. Can you see en-US him fleeing the conditions in Honduras or en-US Guatemala with his family? Instead of en-US devoting time and resources to fix the proben-US -en-US lem caused entirely by his prejudice and en-US incompetence, he continues to bluster about en-US his importance and plows ahead with his en-US dictator regime.en-US The truth of the two party system is evien-US -en-US dent: whoever has the majority is in charge, en-US today, that is Trump and his Republican en-US party. In the 60 years I have had the responen-US-en-US sibility and honor to be an American voter, I en-US have never seen such continual obstruction en-US of justice of our Democracy. And thank en-US goodness the school is not forced to adhere en-US to the failed Common Core which is being en-US pulled from school districts in many parts of en-US the country for its one size fits all, lock-en-US step approach to teaching.en-US I commend the reportage on this importen-US -en-US ant topic as it presented both sides fairly. en-US Parents look to charter schools as a means of en-US offering them a choice for their children. en-US Why anyone want to deny them a free en-US choice in a liberty loving society?en-USVote on the greyhound en-US racing amendmenten-USMy rave is for the Constitution Revision en-US Committee who has given voters the opporen-US -en-US tunity to phase out greyhound dog racing! en-US After many years of failed attempts at en-US reform by the Legislature, including banen-US -en-US ning anabolic steroids, requiring injury en-US reporting and removing dog racing from en-US the gambling industry, the voters will now en-US have a say in the matter. The grievances with en-US this industry are many including confineen-US-en-US ment in stacked metal cages not large en-US enough for them to fully stand up for more en-US than 20 hours a day, positive testing for en-UScocaine and according to state records, a en-US dog dying on average every three days. This en-US is unacceptable to Floridians who love their en-US dogs. I asked you, our en-US law enforcement officers that patrol Florida en-US roads, in my original letter below, to ticket en-US those driving cars with dangerous safety en-US recalls. My reasoning behind this request en-US was to get the attention of the legislators en-US that have been ignoring this danger to en-US Florida motorists. I reasoned that the en-US outrage by motorists, most of whom also en-US VOTE, would frighten our legislators into en-US the action they should have taken two years en-US agoMAKE IT ILLEGAL TO SELL A en-US VEHICLE WITH A DANGEROUS en-US SAFETY RECALL.en-US However, I see no reason why every en-US Florida motorist shouldnt be advised by en-US the Florida Department of HighwaySafeen-US -en-US ty& Motor Vehicles (FLDHSMV) if their en-US car has anunfixed dangerous safety recall. en-US This can be done simply by computer. The en-US FLDHSMV has the name, address and VIN en-US number of every Florida driver. By running en-US this information through the database of en-US the National Highway Traffic Safety en-US Association (NHTSA), every Florida en-US motorist driving a dangerous car can be en-US notified by certified return receipt mail en-US within a few days. en-US 8 Were Here Day and NightFULL CIRCLE SENIOR CARE SROs during the 2018-19 school year. en-USFrom Fiscal Year 2010 through Fiscal en-US Year 2017, the county utilized $56 million en-US of the General Fund and Fine & forfeiture en-US Fund fund balance, averaging $7 million en-US per year, she said. At the end of Fiscal en-US Year 17, the fund balance in the General en-US Fund and the Fine & Forfeiture Fund was en-US roughly half of what we had in 2010. The en-US $55.6 million left at the beginning of this en-US year includes $36.5 million for the counen-US -en-US tys reserve policies including 16.5 million en-US for emergency reserves, $14 million for en-US budget stabilization and $6 million for en-US transportation infrastructure reserves. en-US Some of this reserve is being utilized this en-US year and is not being replenished at this en-US time.en-US Nearly $4 million of those funds will be en-US needed to balance the 2018-19 Fiscal Year en-US Budget, a fact County Administrator en-US Howard Tipton alluded to when explainen-US-en-US ing the challenges that made this particuen-US-en-US lar budget difficult, such as a voter referen-US -en-US endum this fall on an additional $25,000 en-US homestead exemption. en-US This year in particular has been one of en-US the more challenging that I can recall in en-US regards to the number of large impacts en-US from ballot initiatives, as well as dealing en-US with additional unfunded state mandates, en-US he said. Additional property tax exempen-US-en-US tion is a potential huge black cloud en-US towards meeting the Boards goals. The en-US countys $3 billion worth of roads, $1 bilen-US -en-US lion worth of buildings and our other en-US facilities like canals and culverts have seen en-US the amount of deferred maintenance en-US increasing. If not addressed, this will only en-US grow more expensive over time.en-US Mr. Tipton insisted the county needed en-US financial contributions from the St. Lucie en-US County School Board and other sources in en-US order to continue funding the cost of placen-US -en-US ing an SRO on every public school camen-US -en-US pus.en-US When most counties have at least a en-US 50/50 share of the cost with the school en-US board for school resource officers, in 2010 en-US the county stepped up to fill a gap in the en-US funding and has been funding almost 90 en-US percent of the school resource officer en-US costs, he said. Since that time, the county en-US has spent more than $18 million in supen-US -en-US port of keeping our children and teachers en-US safe. Providing for the safety of our chilen-US-en-US dren and teachers remains the responsible en-US thing to do, but it is not the sole responsien-US -en-US bility of this County Commission. There en-US are others like the School Board, our city en-US partners and state agencies who must bear en-US a larger share of this responsibility going en-US forward.en-US Sheriff Mascara addressed the Board en-US during the hearing, thanking the Commisen-US -en-US sion for the $3.3 million in funding it en-US offered him during the budget workshops en-US but pleading with them to still raise at least en-US his part of the millage rate to help him en-US meet this years SRO need.en-US With what you gave us two weeks ago, en-US were still about $2.2 million short to make en-US this budget healthy and what we need to en-US keep the deputies in the schools, he said. en-US Im willing to bear a slight increase in the en-US Fine & Forfeiture Fund to get us through en-US this point so we can have these discussions en-US with the School Board and with both cities en-US to see how were going to divvy up this liaen-US -en-US bility, which next year is going to be $7.8 en-US million. If you dont do that today and en-US were stuck with the $3.3 million we disen-US -en-US cussed two weeks ago, our operation is en-US going to be somewhat diminished in the en-US services that we offer our community. en-US St. Lucie Schools Superintendent E. en-US Wayne Gent also spoke at the meeting, en-US claiming the School Board had already en-US provided the Sheriff $400,000 from its Safe en-US School Allocation and would also be passen-US-en-US ing on funding it received from the state as en-US part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas en-US High School Public Safety Act.en-US The legislature did allocate to St. Lucie en-US County $1.2 million in revenue that came en-US to the School District, he said. Every en-US dime of that will go to the Sheriffs Office, en-US on top of the $400,000, which would be en-US $1.6 million. But pending our board en-US approval, we can offer another $400,000, en-US which would put that at $2 million, and en-US that would be about 23 officers. en-US Sheriff Mascara acknowledged the en-US School Boards efforts but asked for the en-US countys assistance in soliciting financial en-US contributions from Fort Pierce and Port en-US St. Lucie, as well as repeating his calls to en-US raise the millage rate.en-US So with Mr. Gents $400,000, were still en-US about $2 million short, and I would en-US respectfully beg you borrow or steal that en-US money somehow, someway, to get us en-US through this year, or as I mentioned, en-US increase the Fine & Forfeiture millage rate en-US so we could facilitate these discussions in en-US other cities, he said. We have two cities en-US -if we can get them to throw in a million en-US each, we can get through this year.en-US When calling the vote for the motion in en-US which the Commission ignored the Sher en-US-en-US iffs final millage pleas, Chairwoman en-US Hutchinson said she would accompany en-US the Sheriff on his mission to seek SRO en-US funding from the countys largest municien-US-en-US palities. en-US I will be more than happy to go with en-US you and sit down with both city managers en-US and/or their mayors and ask for their supen-US -en-US port, she said. I truly believe that a one-en-US time/one-year [contribution] from both en-US cities will get us there and I dont think en-US thats asking too much of either one.en-US The Commission will also have to furen-US -en-US ther tweak its approved budget in Decemen-US -en-US ber if voters do not pass the one-half cent en-US sales tax initiative on the November ballot en-US for infrastructure repair. Mr. Tipton en-US warned commissioners early on in the en-US hearing of the severity of the problem it en-US faced with the $85 million backlog in such en-US projects. en-US The County has a 75-year road resuren-US -en-US facing and maintenance program, which en-US without additional revenue from our sales en-US tax or another additional resource, well en-US see our $3 billion worth of roads turn to en-US dirt literally, he exclaimed. The largest en-US portion of these are related to our crumen-US -en-US bling infrastructure, and the success of the en-US sales tax referendum is the single most en-US important thing we should be working en-US towards this November. If it is not successen-US -en-US ful, this Board will come back in Decemen-US -en-US ber and realign the proposed budget to put en-US the necessary funding into roads, drainage en-US and bridges, and these will have a very en-US negative impact felt across the board and en-US across all the agencies we fund.en-US As part of its initial budget approval en-US process, the Commission also approved en-US the dates of Sept. 6 and Sept. 20 for the en-US final public hearings on the 2018-19 Fiscal en-US Year Budget. Both meetings will begin at 6 en-US p.m. in the Commission Chambers locaten-US -en-US ed in the Roger Poitras Administration en-US Annex at 2300 Virginia Ave. in Fort Pierce. en-USBudgeten-USFrom page 1

en-US 10 en-USOpen Letter to all Florida Law Enforceen-US -en-US ment Officers Ticket all vehicles with en-US open safety recalls:en-USDen-USear Florida law enforcement officer,en-US If youre with the Florida en-US Highway Patrol, County Sheriffs Departen-US -en-US ment, or local city police, youre empowered en-US by Florida law to issue citations and en-US warnings to unsafe vehicles on Floridas en-US roads. You typically exercise this duty by en-US citing drivers of vehicles with faulty tail, en-US brake, and head lights, unsafe tires, or even en-US a noncompliant license plate frame.en-US My suggestion to you is to prioritize en-US citing drivers of vehicles with dangerous en-US safety recalls, especially Takata airbags. en-US There are more deaths and injuries from en-US defective Takata airbags in Florida than all en-US the other 49 states. This is because of en-US Floridas above average heat and humidity en-US which causes the airbag inflator to en-US EXLODE, sending shrapnel throughout the en-US inside of the vehicle, killing and maiming en-US passengers. Furthermore, SEVENTY-FIVE en-US PERCENT of the cars on the roads with en-US safety recalls have never been repaired. en-US Most of these dangerous cars are older and en-US are being driven by a 2nd, 3rd, 4th or later en-US owners. The manufacturers of these cars are en-US unable to contact most of these endangered en-US drivers because of old, inaccurate addresses. en-US Theres also the apathy of many drivers to en-US take the time to bring their car in for repair. en-US Lastly, thousands of vehicles on the road, en-US especially those with defective Takata en-US airbags, have NO FIX AVAILABLE. The en-US huge Takata airbag recall demand has en-US exceeded the manufacturers capacity to en-US build the airbag inflators. Some vehicle en-US owners are waiting over a year for a en-US replacement airbag.en-US Your squad cars are equipped with en-US sophisticated computers which can en-US cross-reference the license plate number of en-US any vehicle on the roads and display the en-US VIN, vehicle identification number, aka en-US serial number. You have direct access to the en-US National Highway Traffic Associations en-US (NHTSA) database (www.SaferCar.gov) en-US This source, with the VIN, tells you if the en-US car youre driving behind has an unfixed en-US Takata air bag or any other dangerous safety en-US recall. The NHTSA data base will also tell en-US you IF there is a fix available for this recall.en-US I suggest that you first issue a warning to en-US all drivers of vehicles with unfixed safety en-US recalls, giving them 7 days to have the en-US vehicle repaired; if they fail to comply, issue en-US a suspension of their drivers license. If the en-US NHTSA database tells you that the safety en-US recall has no fix available, you should en-US require the driver to drive immediately to en-US the nearest dealership of his vehicles make en-US and rent a car or receive a free loaner.en-US Thank you for taking the time to read en-US this letter. Im going directly to you, our en-US Florida law enforcement officers, because en-US our governor, legislators, and regulators en-US have all let us down. Clearly, it should be en-US illegal to sell a car with a dangerous safety en-US recall, but our governor and lawmakers will en-US not act. At the very least, it should be en-US required that the buyer of a car with a en-US dangerous safety recall be advised prior to en-US sale, this has not been done either. Thereen-US -en-US fore, thousands of used cars with dangerous en-US safety recalls are being sold to unsuspecting en-US Floridians daily.en-US I believe you have the authority and the en-US responsibility to take dangerous vehicles off en-US the road and you can exercise this authority en-US under our existing laws without waiting any en-US longer for the politicians and regulators to en-US act. Furthermore, I believe your action will en-US put the pressure on the politicians, regulaen-US -en-US tors, auto manufacturers and car dealers to en-US do the right thing. It also means new en-US technologies being introduced into the en-US classroom.en-US As students head back to school, here is a en-US look at the technologies that will support en-US STEAM (science, technology, engineering, en-US arts and math) learning this year.en-US Digital Art: Enter some art classes today en-US and you may find a dearth of paints, brushes en-US and charcoal. Today, art students can learn en-US the same painting, drawing and sculpting en-US techniques they previously would have en-US learned using traditional supplies, only with en-US digital tools instead. While the traditional en-US mediums arent completely going away any en-US time soon, todays students can benefit from en-US the versatility that cutting-edge tools supply, en-US from the time a project idea is conceived en-US through when the finished product is shared en-US with the world.en-US Visual Science: Whether its an anatomien-US -en-US cal diagram of the human heart or a map of en-US the Milky Way, every science teacher knows en-US that a pictures worth a thousand words, en-US particularly when its a sharp, clear picture. en-US Teachers and students are benefitting from en-US top of the line projection technology in en-US classrooms. The LampFree Projectors from en-US Casios Core Series, for example, have the en-US ability to project images and video wirelessen-US -en-US ly from smart phones, laptop computers and en-US tablets, expanding teachers ability to create en-US engaging lesson plans. Additionally, the en-US mercury-free Laser and LED hybrid light en-US source is energy-efficient, reducing power en-US consumption by up to 40 percent, a bonus en-US lesson in environmental stewardship.en-US Accessible Computer Science: Certain en-US innovations are helping students go beyond en-US just consuming technology. Apps abound en-US for independent learners, as well as educaen-US -en-US tors, to use in their classrooms to help comen-US -en-US puter science students of all ages and abilien-US -en-US ties to hone their coding skills. From en-US straight-forward instructional apps to those en-US that gamify the learning process, young en-US coders-in-training have a wealth of resourcen-US-en-US es at their fingertips.en-US Intuitive Music: New technology is en-US rocking the music education boat in an en-US effort to make learning an instrument more en-US intuitive. For example, Casios LK-265 is en-US outfitted with such tools as a Key Lighting en-US System, Voice Fingering Guide and Step-up en-US Lesson System, enabling beginners to learn en-US built-in songs at their own pace. Additionalen-US-en-US ly, an LCD display makes mastering music en-US notation and correct hand positioning easy. en-US Students dont even have to wait for teacher en-US feedback -the keyboards have a Scoring en-US System that evaluates performance.en-US In-Depth Math: Todays students are en-US getting a closer look at the inner workings of en-US mathematics than their predecessors, en-US thanks to new graphing calculators, such as en-US the fx-CG50 PRIZM and fx-CG500, which en-US offer expanded features, including the abilien-US-en-US ty to easily draw three dimensional graphs en-US such as planes, cylinders and spheres, and en-US view them from various angles to better en-US analyze their shapes. A cross-section option en-US and special zoom function allow students to en-US closely examine graphs for in-depth analysis en-US and an improved catalog function means en-US students can use commands more easily and en-US quickly.en-US As rapidly emerging technologies innoen-US-en-US vate education, its an exciting time to be a en-US student or teacher.en-US Story courtesy of StatePointen-USHow new technologies will support STEAM Photo courtesy of Monkey Business/stock.Adobe.com

en-US 18 en-USThis weekend, the PGA of America will en-US conduct its 100th Championship at en-US Bellerive Country Club, just outside St. en-US Louis. Founded in 1916, the PGA of en-US America is one of the largest sports en-US organizations in the world, with nearly en-US 29,000 PGA Professionals who work to en-US manage, and grow the game of golf. en-US For many, many years the PGA Champien-US -en-US onship has held the final spot in the years en-US rotation of major championships. As such, en-US it sometimes is overlooked and is usually en-US not held in as high a regard as the Masters, en-US or either of the Opens. What many do not en-US realize, is that it usually has the strongest en-US field of the four.en-US Next year, the championship will move en-US to a better place on the calendar. Bethpage en-US Black will play host to the 2019 PGA en-US Championship from May 13-19. The move en-US will eliminate the gap we currently have en-US between the Masters in April and the U.S. en-US Open in June. The move also makes it en-US easier for years when the Summer Olymen-US -en-US pics is held in August, and gives players a en-US break before the Fed Ex Cup playoffs and en-US allows most of golfs big events to conclude en-US before football season begins.en-US In 1894, with 41 golf courses operating en-US in the United States, two unofficial national en-US championships for amateur golfers were en-US organized. One was held at Newport en-US Country Club in Rhode Island, and the en-US other at St. Andrews Golf Club in New en-US York. In addition, and at the same time as en-US the amateur event, St. Andrews conducted en-US an Open championship for professional en-US golfers. en-US None of the championships were en-US officially sanctioned by a governing body en-US for American golf, causing considerable en-US controversy among players and organizers. en-US Later in 1894 this led to the formation of en-US the United States Golf Association(USGA), en-US which became the first formal golf organien-US -en-US zation in the country. After the formation en-US of the USGA, golf quickly became a sport of en-US national popularity and importance.en-US In February 1916 the Professional en-US Golfers Association of America (PGA) was en-US established in New York City. One month en-US earlier, the wealthy department store en-US ownerRodman Wanamaker hosted a en-US luncheon with the leading golf professionen-US -en-US als of the day at theWykagyl Country en-US Clubin nearby New Rochelle. en-US The attendees prepared the agenda for en-US the formal organization of the PGA. As a en-US result, golf historians have dubbed Wykagyl en-US The Cradle of the PGA. The new en-US organizations first president was Robert en-US White, one of Wykagyls best-known golf en-US professionals. en-US Thefirst PGA Championship was held in en-US October, 1916, at Siwanoy Country Club in en-US Bronxville, New York. The tournament was en-US won by Jim Barnes, who received a $500 en-US first-place check and a diamond-studded en-US gold medal donated by Rodman Wanamaken-US -en-US er. Last years winner, Justin Thomas, en-US earned over $1.8million. The champion is en-US also awarded a replica of the Wanamaker en-US Trophy, which was also donated by en-US Wanamaker, to keep for one year, and a en-US smaller-sized keeper replica Wanamaker en-US Trophy.en-US Initially, the Championship was a match en-US play event. Players would first play a stroke en-US play qualifier and then move on to match en-US play. It was not unusual for players in the en-US finals to have played over 200 holes over the en-US seven-day event.en-US After the event lost money in 1957, it was en-US decided that to accommodate television, en-US the Championship would be decided over en-US 72 holes of stroke play beginning in 1958. en-US In the early 1960s the event was held the en-US week after the Open Championship, en-US making it nearly impossible for players to en-US compete in both. en-US Over its history, the PGA Championship en-US has been played in nearly every month on en-US the calendar. While most of us are used to en-US seeing it held in August, in 1971, Florida en-US hosted the event in late February. en-US From now, until further notice, the PGA en-US Championship will be held the week before en-US Memorial Day weekend. The move to a en-US cooler month allows the PGA of America en-US to look at holding its Championship in en-US more places around the country. en-US Enjoy this weeks event. Its likely the last en-US time you will see a major golf championen-US -en-US ship held after July for quite some time.en-US James Stammer has been an avid golfer en-US and golf enthusiast for nearly 40 years. en-US Contact him at stammergolf@yahoo.com. Type TOURING WITH THE TOWNIES in the subject line.en-USTouring with the Townies 'Why is my internet down?' en-USA en-UScomplaint I hear often is "The en-US internet is down. Every time en-US someone says that to me I cant help en-US but picture in my mind computers all over en-US the world stopped in their tracks and en-US displaying some type of error. Email en-US messages no longer bouncing from node to en-US node, Netflix accounts standing still with a en-US hourglass spinning and turning, Google en-US searches stalled and coming up empty. en-US What exactly do you mean the internet is en-US down? I ask (usually while looking at a fully en-US functioning internet connection at my desk). en-US I know that people count on the internet for en-US so much but when one facet of the internet en-US stops working does it really mean that the en-US whole internet is down? No, not quite. I en-US imagine its kind of like dialing a phone en-US number and getting a fast busy signal or a en-US message saying that the number you are en-US trying to reach is not available. Does that en-US mean the phone system is down? No, its just en-US a problem connecting to that phone number. en-US Or another way to look at it is seeing a Road en-US Closed sign at the end of the street. Does en-US that mean the entire highway system is en-US down? No, not quite. en-US When someone calls me and says that the en-US internet is down I know I have to do some en-US question asking to determine exactly what en-US they mean by that statement. Just what en-US problem are they having exactly to lead them en-US to believe that the internet is down?en-US Most of the time, after asking a few simple en-US questions and listening closely to the en-US answers, the problem is one website that the en-US caller is trying to access. They click a en-US shortcut and the hourglass starts to twirl en-US until it finally times out and displays an en-US error message that the page cannot be en-US displayed but does this mean that the en-US internet is really down? en-US I usually ask them to try accessing another en-US site if they were trying to access Yahoo.com en-US and got that message I ask them to try en-US Google. If they were trying to access Google en-US then I ask them to try Yahoo. Usually they en-US are unable to access one page but are able to en-US access the other showing clearly that the en-US internet is indeed up. Or maybe its an en-US email problem they try to access email but en-US get an error message. Sure I know its en-US frustrating when something people rely on en-US every day suddenly stops working but to en-US declare that the internet is down goes a en-US little overboard as the problem is usually not en-US as severe. en-US So, how does one figure out what is really en-US going on? Well there are a lot of tools and en-US techniques out there that can be used to en-US discover the extent of the problem and one of en-US my favorite tools can be used to check the en-US status of a particular site and that tool is en-US called DownForEveryoneOrJustMe.com. en-US The idea behind the site is that it is someen-US -en-US times difficult to determine if a problem en-US accessing a particular web address is a local en-US problem (that is a problem with the local en-US computer from which you are trying to en-US access the site) or a problem with the web en-US address you are trying to reach.en-US When you have a problem accessing a web en-US address try going to en-US www.DownForEveryoneen-US-en-US OrJustMe.com en-US (no hyphens). If the site opens en-US then you know right off the bat that the en-US internet is not down but rather you are en-US having a problem accessing a site (kind of en-US like dialing a phone number and getting a en-US fast busy signal).en-US If en-US DownForEveryoneOrJustMe.comen-US does en-US open, then type in the web address you are en-US trying to reach and hit enter, en-US DownForEveryen-US-en-US oneOrJustMe.comen-US will try to access that site en-US and display either Its just you if the site is en-US able to access the site or it will display Its en-US not just you if it cant access the site.en-US That little bit of information is invaluable en-US when it comes to troubleshooting a connecen-US -en-US tivity issue with a web address.en-US DownForEveryoneOrJustMe.com acts like en-US a friend you can call to ask if they can access en-US a particular web site. If it says the problem is en-US just you then you can aim your trouble en-US shooting efforts in the direction of your en-US machine. If the message comes back saying en-US its not just you then you know there is en-US nothing you can do about it from your end en-US and to just wait. That can save a lot of wasted en-US time troubleshooting a problem you have no en-US control over. en-US Sean McCarthy fixes computers.
