He goes on to post a link that shows en-US 81 accomplishments of this administraen-US-en-US tion. That doesn't seem to be very many en-US in the year and a half this president has en-US been in office. en-US Not only are there comparable links en-US showing everything he's done that is negen-US -en-US ative, but there's also links to his numeren-US -en-US ous scandals, his many investigations and en-US his campaign promises that are nothing en-US but lies. en-US Oh, that tax cut you supposedly got? en-US You'll be paying for that in a bigly manner en-US in the years to come and with the deficit en-US climbing and taxes being cut, we can't fix en-US our infrastructure, which continues to en-US crumble. en-US Perhaps that writer should question en-US himself as to why he, or anyone, would en-US vote republican.en-USRecycling program needs updateen-USWe read with great interest the Melen-US -en-US bourne launches recycling program artien-US -en-US cle in the Aug 17, en-US Hometown Newsen-US en-US While expecting to see ourselves as en-US fully compliant and non-contaminators, en-US we discovered we werent, and learned en-US how to be more compliant. en-US Previously we did our best to recycle en-US per the directions sticker placed on each en-US recycling cart. Those stickers provide en-US basic minimal information and we can fully see how most homeowners (62 per en-US-en-US cent) will get it wrong by simply following en-US those stickers.en-US While we commend the current outen-US -en-US reach educational program by Michele en-US Smith, the city of Melbourne's environen-US -en-US mental programs coordinator, we would en-US suggest a sure way to reach and educate en-US the public is by updating the labels on en-US each cart.en-US Many stickers are fading or starting to en-US fall off anyway. en-US In addition to clarifying what can be en-US put in the cart on one sticker, please add a en-US dedicated sticker with information on en-US what shouldnt be put in the cart. en-US Pictures with big red Xs through items en-US is pretty straight forward.en-US A link and QRC code to a URL for en-US more information would also be a treen-US -en-US mendous help.en-USIrrigate politely, not the sidewalken-USReally people, your sidewalks are not en-US going to green up so would you stop en-US sprinkling them? If you cant, could you en-US put your irrigation timer on to water that en-US zone before sunrise, so that dog walkers en-US and children walking to school dont have en-US to walk in the street to avoid your sprinen-US -en-US kler, which may be using reclaimed water? en-US (yuck.) en-US And wouldnt it be nice if people honen-US -en-US ored Titusvilles water conservation order en-US water odd numbered houses on en-US Wednesday and Saturday, even numbered en-US houses Thursday and Sunday. en-US Then three days a week wed stay safe en-US and dry, and every day we could walk on en-US one sidewalk or the other and not get wet. en-US (And have you looked at how much water en-US is going into the gutter?)en-US And while Im ranting, Ill vent about en-US parking a car so that it blocks the driveen-US -en-US way. en-US OK, if you absolutely have to, I underen-US -en-US stand, but when you could pull your car en-US up and you dont, youre being rude (as en-US well as violating Titusville City Code of en-US Ordinance Sec. 20-53.) en-US And we can combine the two. A few en-US days ago, the dog and I took a sunrise jog, en-US rounded a car that was parked over the en-US sidewalk and ran right into the sprinkler en-US that was irrigating the zone behind the en-US parked cars. (The cars blocked the view en-US of the far side of the lawn.) en-US I took a full-on oscillating sprinkler hit en-US to the crotch; my big, water-hating mutt en-US was startled, bolted, and nearly tripped en-US me.en-USRantsen-US & en-USRaves en-USGot something to say? en-USEmail the Hometown Rants & Raves at en-USbrevnews@hometownnewsol.comen-USThe Rants & Raves section provides readers a chance to share their thoughts. en-US en-US The opinions included here are not those of en-US Hometown News en-US or its employees.en-US Please limit your submissions to 250 words, so we can include more entries. en-US en-US Readers are asked to refrain from making libelous statements. en-USAlex Schierholtz/Staff photographeren-USVeronica Ronarzewski, of Melbourne and Brevard Zoo Healing Cenen-US-en-US ter, walks Hudson West, a juvenile green sea turtle, down the en-US beach as dozens of onlookers watch Hudson gets released back to en-US the ocean on Aug. 16 at High Tower Beach in Satellite Beach.en-USBack to the sea

These callers noted en-US the absence of support groups for those en-US diagnosed with fibromyalgia.en-US I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia en-US many years ago and know that the pain en-US associated with it is often unbearable. You en-US can search Florida Today and en-US www.en-US Helpingseniorsofbrevard.orgen-US to review the en-US articles I have written on back pain and en-US what it can do to other parts and funcen-US -en-US tions of the body.en-US Since I am not a doctor, I can only offer en-US my opinion based on what we lay people en-US call on the job training, and here it en-US might be called personal pain.en-US Regardless of the name attached, the en-US resultant pain can be extremely severe. en-US Treatment is difficult to prescribe and en-US most often administered on a trial and en-US error basis. I admire doctors who treat en-US this disease because the honest ones will en-US tell you they do not know what it is or en-US what causes it. They do know those who en-US have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia en-US have painful days ahead.en-US My efforts to self-treat were more en-US effective before I had my stroke and en-US limited gym days. To try to relieve en-US different pains associated with the en-US disease, I have endured pain manageen-US -en-US ment, therapy, back operations, massages, en-US and burning of nerve endings.en-US Now I am on a firmly controlled diet en-US with no gluten, sugar, sodas, or alcohol, en-US and scarce red meat. The goal is to eat an en-US abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables en-US and ingest shakes and other vegetable en-US capsules to eliminate inflammation en-US markers. To date I have experienced no en-US change.en-US By change I mean any improvement in en-US rising from a sitting to standing position en-US without extreme pain, same for walking, en-US even with my rollator, which I would not en-US walk without due to poor balance. My en-US posture has become stooped, something en-US of which I am not proud. I know I have en-US problems, but also know there are en-US millions out there just like me. en-US Bringing it closer to home I know en-US many experience the same difficulty en-US naming their disease and coping with it. en-US The passage of HB 21 governing the use en-US of opioids combined with how little we en-US know about the disease make it long en-US overdue to develop a fibromyalgia en-US support group.en-US Lets join forces to develop a catalogue en-US of problems associated with the disease en-US and possible treatments exercise, en-US medication, pain management, and many en-US others.en-US The support group will be held at the en-US Helping Seniors office in the Unity of en-US Melbourne building, 2401 N. Harbor City en-US Boulevard, where we can seat about 120 en-US people. While we will start small, I believe en-US the group will grow since there are so en-US many who cope daily with the painful en-US symptoms of fibromyalgia.en-US Please call Kay at (321) 473-7770 to en-US give your preferences on a day and time en-US to hold the fibromyalgia support group. en-US We do need your feedback if we are to en-US make this work and help those who will en-US have a difficult time obtaining medicaen-US -en-US tions.en-US Joe Steckler is president of Helping en-US Seniors of Brevard, a nonprofit organizaen-US-en-US tion designed to advocate, educate, and en-US fundraise on behalf of Brevards senior en-US citizens.
