SUMMARY.
Sir William Stapleton reports that he is fitting out a
fleet of vessels, well equipped and well armed against the
Indians who are making preparations to attack not only
in St. Vincent, St. Lucia and Dominica but also from the
Main and the Island of Tobago which is now deserted by
both Courlanders and Dutch.
