I have received a letter from Captain Wood of H.M.Sloop
Favorite dated off Grenada on the 24th of June giving an
account of the death of Captain Vaughan of H.M.S. Alarm.
Captain Fellowes has been appointed to the Alarm in
the place of Captain Vaughan.
The Alarm, Mermaid and Favourite are stationed to cruise
off Grenada and towards Trinidad and the Zebra stationed
off the Bocas for the protection of trade.
