MILLION DOLLAR SCHOOL BUDGET '
"I -' -
Tonight the School Board will held a public hearing on its
U. S. D. A. Choke "FULL CUT"
million dollar school budget. It sounds like a lot of money for a

little county. And, it Is.
With this size budget there is naturally quite a bit of discussion lb. 89
centered around the need or lack of need of that much

money for our school program.
This writer Is not in the position to defend every item in the Choice JuicyCUBE
budget but he is familiar with the problems faced by the School

Board In trying to provide a quality education program. STEAK 89C

The School Board will remember that two yean ago this Him

courage to adopt a budget that will meet the demands of a MEAT STEW Ib. 69<
good school program. Most of the problems that the School
Board faced In the loss of personnel and the difficulty In obtaining .

new personnel were "money".

We did not want a second' rate principal at Bunnell or Flag
