This is a promotional segment for the University of Florida. The tape begins with some very early photos of the UF campus about 1906 with it being described as a swamp and desolate. Later images show an aerial view of buildings and lush green areas. As various scenes are shown (classrooms, labs, exterior areas of campus) verbal information is given regarding statistics on the students, faculty, the growth, the awards, and the size of the university. The new UF president, Marshall Criser, is introduced and he speaks briefly.
