Abstract: A report on the research of Dr. Elizabeth Wing, a curator at the Florida State Museum. The research is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The scientific photographer, Donna Drake, takes photos of the 3,000 specimens, which Dr. Wing has in her extensive collection of fish bones. The method used is called the photographic indexing method which will aid in conserving the collection.
