Abstract: A moiré pattern (which is a wave-like design) is created by moving thousands of sets of wires back and forth between a set of lights, a camera, and a subject.  This technique is assisting surgeons in reconstructing facial deformities in people.  University of Florida professors Mike Madden from Engineering and Dr. Mark Carlin from the College of Medicine are working on this project.
