Abstract: |
University of Florida professor Dr. Thom Hodgson, an industrial and system engineer, says that this area of engineering can be used to solve the problems of business and management. His students have designed a model of an automated warehouse. The principles the students learn can help in solving major economic problems. Dr. Hodgson is practicing what he teaches as he is currently designing an automation system for the U.S. Navy.
