 Notes
Abstract: University of Florida archaeologists and students have been working at a 1500 year-old Indian site near Live Oak. The site is important as it is in the time period of the change of the Indian culture from one of hunter/gatherers to growers/agriculturists. The concern is expressed that Indian sites not yet investigated would be destroyed because of the recent building trend in Florida.
