Abstract: The U.S. State Department is giving the University of Florida a two million dollar grant to launch a program of solar instruction. Dr. Erich Farber, who is a charter member of the Solar Hall of Fame, will be heading the project. People from mostly undeveloped countries will be brought to UF to learn about solar energy applications when the program begins next April 1980. Various criteria will be used to choose the participants.
