VISIT OF HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR.
It is notified for general information that His Excellency the Governor, Mr.
E. B. BEETHAM, C.M.G., C.V.O., O.B.E., accompanied by Mrs. Beetham, will pay an
official visit to the St. Vincent Grenadines (except Bequia) from 4th to 9th June,
1954, when he will arrive in St. Vincent.
His Excellency and party will lave St. Vincent for Bequia on llth June. He
will return to St. Vincent on or about 15th JUne and will leave for Grenada on or
about 19th June.
His Honour W. F. COUTTS, C.M.G., M.B.B., Administrator, will accompany His
Excellency on his official tour of the Grenadines.
His Honour WALLACE MacMILLAN, Administrator of Grenada, has been
appointed Governor's Deputy during His Excellency's absence from Grenada.

QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY, 1'954.
With reference to Government Notice 'No. 261 of 18th May, 1954, the following
is the Official Programme relating to the Ceremonial for Her Majesty the Queen's
Birthday Parade to take place at Victoria Park, Kingstown, on Thursday 10th June,
8.20 a.m. Parade consisting of the following detachments will march to
Victoria Park :-
St. Vincent Police Force with Band,
Fire Brigade Section of Auxiliary Police,
Grammar School Cadet Corps,
British Red Cross.
Other Police, Scouts and Guides will line the parade ground.

Members of the St. Vincent Legion of the British Empire Service League
will also be present.
9.00 a.m. (i) His Excellency the Governor will arrive at Victoria Park
accompanied by His Honour the Administrator.
(ii) His Excellency will inspect the Parade.
(iii) His Excellency the Governor will take the Salute at March Past of
(iv) Rcyal Standard flown symbolising the presence of Her Majesty the
(v) Paradc Advances in Review Order.
(vi) His Excellency calls for Three Cheers for Her Majesty the Queen.
(vii) Royal Salute and Royal Standard lowered.
(viii) His Excellency resumes position as Her Majesty's representative.
(x) His Lxcellency the Governor leaves the Parade.
Members of Executive and Lagislative Councils, Members of the Kingstown
Town Board, Ministers of Religious Denominations and all public officers and their
wives are invited to be present.
A cordial invitation is also extended to the general public to attend.
