RETURN OF ACTING ADMINISTRATOR.


With reference to Government Notice No. 149 of 4th April, 1953,
His Honour CYPRIAN BERNARD GIBBS, Acting Administrator, St. Vin-
cent, arrived in the Colony by air at 12 o'clock noon on 8th April, 1953,
and resumed the Administration of the Government of St. Vincent.

FEDERATION CONFERENCE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.

The Honourable J. A. BAYNES, Elected Member of the Legislative
Council and the Honourable K. H. C. ALLEYNE, Crown Attorney, left
the Colony by air on the 7th April, 1953, to attend, as this Colony's
Delegate and Adviser respectively, the Federation Conference scheduled
to be held in London from the 13th to 20th April, 1953.

ACTING CROWN ATTORNEY.

Consequent on the departure of the Honourable K. H. C. ALLEYNE,
Crown Attorney, to the United Kingdom on 7th April, 1953, Mr. E. F.
GLASGOW, Magistrate of Districts I and II in the Colony, has been
appointed to act as Crown Attorney, until further notice, in conjunction
with the duties of his substantive post.
