TREASURY NOTICE.

Business Houses and other persons
are hereby informed that a new Local
Purchase Order form has been intro-
duced for Government requisitions of
supplies and purchases with effect from
April 1st, 1953. All concerned are
therefore particularly requested not to
fill any orders whatsoever received on
the old Order form, because difficulty
may be experienced in settlement of
claim.
2. The new Order form is in tripli-
cate, and the Supplier will be served
with Original :nd Duplicate. The good/
or articles supplied as per Order should
be accompanied not only by the suppli-
er's bill or invoice but also by the
Duplicate of the Order, after rates and
value of the articles have been inserted
in the spaces provided for the purpose.
3. It will not be necessary for the
Supplier to prepare or to submit the
usual Payment Voucher ;s heretofore,
which will he the responsibility of an
officer of the Dtpartment from which
thb Order issued. In this connection,

CENTRAL WATER DISTRIBUTION
AUTHORITY.

RATES AND CHARGES.

The attention of persons indebted to
the Central Water Distribution Authority
is drawn to Sections 33 to 35 of Ordinance
No. 12/50 which are quoted hereunder:
"33. (1) It shall be lawful for the Cen-
tral Authority to accept part payments
made by any person on account of the
total amount due by such persons in re-
spect of rates, charges, or sums due under
or by virtue of this ordinance or any reg-
ulations thereunder: Provided that no
sum of less than two dollars shall be ac-
cepted in part payment unless it be in
final settlement of the total amount due.
Any part payment may be appropri-
ated by the Central Authority to any of
the debts due to the Central Authority
by the person making the part payment.
(2) Nothing in this section shall pre-
judice any of the provisions of sections
34 and 35 of this Ordinance.
34. Any rate, charge or sum due and
payable under or by virtue of this Ordin-
ance or any regulations thereunder, if
unpaid at the expiration of three months
after the same shall have become due
and payable shall be increased at the
rate of six per centum : Provided that
it shall be lawful for the Central Author-
ity in any case in which it shall appear
to the Central Authority that there is
just cause for doing so, to remit such per-
centage increase in whole or in part.
35. (1) Any rate, charge, or sum due
and payable under or by virtue of this Or-
dinance or any regulations thereunder,
shall after the expiration of three months
from the time the same became due and
payable and until paid be a charge on the
premises upon and in respect whereof
such rate, charge, or sum is due and pay-
able; and, without prejudice to such
charge, and to the power of sale con-
ferred by the Land and House Tax Ordin-
ance, the amount of such rate, charge, or
sum of money together with the statu-

STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS,

1953, No. 13:

(Gazetted 7th April, 1953.)

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 14 of the Juveniles Ordinance, 1952, that the
Governor in Council may by Order published in the Gazette declare any house,
building enclosure or place or any part thereof to be an approved school for the
purposes of this Ordinance and may in such Order declare the name by which the
approved school shall be known :

Now THEREFORE it is hereby ordered as follows :-

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited as the Juveniles (Fair Hall
School) Order, 1953.

2. Declaration of building as Approved School. All that wall
building situate in the Fair Hall Valley on a portion of the Fair Hall Estate on the
Glen Road in the parish of St. George measuring 82 feet in length by 45 feet in
width is hereby declared to be an approved School for the purposes of the Juveniles
Ordinance, 1952.

3. Name of Approved School. The name by which the Approved
School declared in the preceding paragraph of this Order shall be known shall be
"the Fair Hall School."
