DEATH OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN MARY.

The Acting Administrator has learnt with deep regret of the death
on 24th March, 1953, of Her Majesty the Dowager Queen MARY.
Flags will be flown at half mast on all public buildings until after
the funeral, the date of which will be notified later.
26th March, 1953.

The following message transmitted by His Excellency the Acting
Governor to the Secretary of State for the Colonies for submission to
Her Majesty the Queen is published for general information :-
"On behalf of the people and Governments of the Windward
Islands with humble duty I transmit our deepest sympathy on the
passing of QUEEN MARY. Her life has been and will be an example to
us all."
