tion Apparatus:-
One 35 mm Simplex Acme sound
projector complete with speaker inal


amplifier. For operation on 110-125
volt, 60 cycles-alternating current: to-
gether with one generator (110 volts)
and gasolene motor (4 cylinder Ford
1941 engine) for use where there is no
power supply.
This generator has an output capacity
of nine kilowatts, and is capable in it-
self, apart from supplying the projector,
of carrying a fairly large extra load
such as cinema or theatre lighting: in
fact it would supply all the amenities
for a small cinema or theatre.
The entire machine is of such size
and so mounted that it is mobile, i.e.,
it can be transported by truck.
The equipment which is stored at
Belair Health Centre has been very
little used, and was recently overhauled
and is believed to be in perfect working
order. It may be viewed by arrange-
ment.
Persons interested are requested to
communicate with the Senior Medical
Officer, Kingstown, St. Vincent, for
further information.

The attention of persons indebted to
the Central Water Distribution Authority
is drawn to Sections 33 to 35 of Ordinance
No. 12/50 which are quoted hereunder:

made by any person on account of the

spect of rates, charges, or sums due under

by the Central Authority as a civil debt
from the owner for the time being of
such premises by action in the Magis-
trate's Court of the district without limit
or amount, or by distress on any goods or
chattels (including any movable tene-
ment standing on land forming part of
the premises) which may be found in or
upon such premises.
(2) If any rate, charge, or sum due and
payable in respect of any premises by vir-
tue of this Ordinance or any regulations
thereunder remain unpaid after the ex-
piration of three months from the time
the same became due and payable, the
Central Authority may, without prejudice
to any other remedy available to the Cen-
tral Authority, cut of or disconnect the
service to such premises and keep it cut
off or disconnected so long as payment of
the amount due and of the cost of re-es-
tablishing the supply has not been
made."

WHEREAS by section 7 of the Bank Holidays Ordinance, Cap. 161, it is enacted
that it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council from time to time by
Proclamation published in the Gazette, to appoint a special day to be observed as a
Bank Holiday throughout the Colony :

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to appoint special days to be observed as Bank
Holidays in consequence of the celebration of the Royal Coronation of our lawful
and rightful Liege Lady and Sovereign Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God Queen of
all Her Realm and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith :

Now THEREFORE I do with the advice of the Executive Council and pursuant to
the authority in me vested by the said Ordinance hereby appoint Tuesday the
second day of June and Wednesday the third day of June, 1953, to be observed as
Bank Holidays throughout the Colony.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Island of Saint Vincent at
the Government Office in the said Island this 21st day of March in the
year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-three in the
Second Year of the Reign of Her Majesty QUEEN ELIZABETH THE
SECOND.
