RETURN OF HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR TO GRENADA.
With reference to Government Notice No. 108 of the 4th March. 1952. His
Excellency the Governor, Brigadier Sir 1. D. I. ARUNDELL, K.C.M.G.. O.B.E.,
returned to Grenada on 18th March. 1952.

DEPARTURE OF GOVERNOR FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM.
It is notified for general information that His Excellency the Governor
Brigadier Sir R. D. H. ARUNDELL, K.C.M.G., O.B.E., left Grenada on 20t'h
March, 1952, en route via Trinidad, Jamaica and New York to the United
Kingdom.
It is understood that His Excellency's visit to the United Kingdom is
principally in connection with discussion with the Colonial Office concerning
the reconstruction of Castries. St. Lucia.
Consequent on His Excellency's departure from Grenada, His Honour
J. M. STOW, C.M.G., Administrator of St. Lucia, took the prescribed Oaths and
assumed the Administration uf the Windward Islands.
His Honour WALLACE IACMILLAN, Administrator of Grenada, has been
appointed Governor's Deputy.

tuted Mr. HAROLD AUBREY WENT, Acting Crown Surveyor, St. Vincent to fill
the Office of Authorised Officer under the above Ordinance.
Mr. WENT will have and exercise within this Colony all ihe authority and
functions appertaining to the office of Authoriced Officer in connection with
the Survey of lands which are likely to be required for a public ptirpcie, n; ne-
ly, the accommodation of head-works, pipe-lines, balancing tank, pov er station
and all approach roads of the Hydro-electric generating system.
