NOTICE
In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Aid to Pioneer
Industries Ordinance, 1952, notice i3 hereby given that subject to the consideration of any
objections which may be received by him pursuant to this Notice, the Governor proposes
under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the said Ordinance to make an Order in the form set
out in the Schedule hereto.
2. Any person who objects to the making of such Order is hereby invited to give notice
in writing of his objection and of the grounds on which he relies in support thereof to the
Secretary to the Cabinet at the Prenner s usi,.ce in Kingstown, on or before the 11th day of
May, 1976.

of Confectionery) Order, 1976.

2. Declaration. The establishment, maintenance and operation in the State of plant for
the manufacture of Confectionery is hereby declared to be a Pioneer Industry for the
purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952, and confectionery so manufactured
is declared to be a pioneer product for the said purposes.

The successful applicant must possess:-

Anaesthetics, Kingstown General Hospital, Medi-

Community Development & Local Government.

Qualifications:

(b) A Diploma in Anesthetics or equivalent

Appointment:
The appointment may be either on a perman-
ent and pensionable basis or on contract for a
period of three years in the first instance.

Salary :
Salary will be in the scale $9,720 X $480 -
$10,200 X $600 $11;400 E.C. per knnum plus
a pay addition of $900 per annum without pri-
vate practice;
or in the scale of $7j320 X $360 $8,400 E.C.
per annum, with private practice;
A transport allowance of $600 per annum is
payable.

Duties:
The successful applicant will be required to
assist the Consultant Anaesthetist in the organ-
isation and management of the Anaesthetic Sec-
tion of the Kingstdwn' General Hospital and with
anaesthetics on a State-wide basis. He wi 1
work at the-cirrection of the Consultant Anaes-
thetist, who will be' responsible to the Senior
Medical Officer through the Medical Superin-
tendent. Kingstown General Hospital for the
performance of his duties. In the absence of a
Consultant, the Registrar will be responsible to
the Senior Medical-Officer, through the Medical
Superintendent, Kingstown General I6Ispital for
the operation of the Section.

panied by proof of qualifications, a recent photo-

fled persons for the post of Obstetrician/Gynae-
cologist, Kingstown General IIosnital, Medical
& Health Department, Ministry of -ea'thi. Hous-
ing, Community Development & Local Govern-
ment. St. Vincent. The appointment' may )e
permanent and pensionable or on contract for
three years in the first instance. If on contract,

QuaUfijcations:
Candidates- must-posssess a medi el (!nalifi-
fication registrable in St. Vincent, mnist have
msucessfullj completed post-graduate training
in Obstetrics and Gynaecology holding the
M.R.C.O.G. or its!equivalent, and have had at
least three years practical expotience in' their
field as a Consultant.


Duties:
The holder of the post will be required to
advise and assist in Obstetrics/Gynaecology on
a state-wide basis, and be responsible for:-
(a) Out-patient pre-natal, post-natal and
Gynaecological clinics;
(b) assisting with the operation of a family,
planning programme;
(c) the organisation and management of
the Maternity Section of the Kingstown
General Hospital;
(d) supervision of the Midwifery Training
Programme for nurses.
II will be' assisted by a Seni6r Registrar, and
will be required to be on, call for emergency'
duty. He wil, be responsible to the Senior
Medical Officer, through the Medical Super-
intendent Kinoitown Gereral Hospital for the
performance of his duties.
Salary:
The successful applicant may opt to receive
salary of eithber-
(a) $10;800' E.C. (fi6d) per annum, plus
a pay addition of $900 'E.C. per'anhum
with fee earning consultancy practice,
and ordinary private practice to the
extent thht tins is permitted' by the rules
and etiquette of the profession.
(b) $12,600' 'EC. (fixed) per annum, plus
a pay addition of $900 E.C. per annim
without ordinary private or consult-
ancy practice.

DEPARTMENTAL AND OIHER NOTCES


ANNOUNCEMENT

The Mercantile Community is reminded that
under the Price and Distribution of Goods Act
No. 33/1975, a Trader's Licence Fee of $12.00
is payable annually by all Traders.except Huck-
sters a'nd Traders whose stocks are valued at
$200.09 or less.

This Licence should have been paid since 31st
January 1976, but there have been quite a
number of Merchants and Traders who have
defaulted payment on the due date.

An extension of time is now granted until 30th
April, 1976.

Any person found Trading (buying and/or
s:'ling Goods) without a Licence after 30ih
April. 1976 shall be dealt with in accordance
with Section 3 subsection 5 of the aforementioned
Act No. 33/1975.

Tr-ence Foes are payable at the Ministry of
Trade and Agriculture, Murray Road, Kings-
town.

ELIZABETH THE SECOND by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain
of Northern Ireland and of our other Realms and Territories, Queen of the Commonwealth,
Defender of the Faith.
To the Kin (if any) who are entitled to share and all persons having or claiming any
interest in the estate of Samuel Sween deceased.
WHEREAS it appears by Affidavit of Cosmore Pompey of Overland Sworn on the 30th
day of March, 1976 that Samuel Sween late of Georgetown of the Parish of Charlotte of the
State of St. Vincent died on the 26th day of December, 1969 at Georgetown, intestate married
without known issue or parent brother or sister of the whole or half blood or their issue
grand parent, uncle or Aunt of the whole blood or half blood or their issue but the said deceased
is survived by his wife Loretta Sween of Georgetown.
AND WHEREAS the said Loretta Sween died on the 22nd day of February, 1972 a widow
without known issue or parent brother or sister of the whole or half blood or their issue grand
parent, uncle or Aunt of the whole blood or half blood or their issue.
AND WHEREAS the said Loretta Sween is the only heir of the said Samuel Sween.
AND WHEREAS the said Samuel Sween estate consists of one and a half (11/2) lots of
land situate at Overland.
AND WHEREAS the said Loretta Sween sold the said land to Cosmore Pompey for seven
hundred dollars ($700.00).
AND WHEREAS the said Cosmore Pompey is a creditor of the said Loretta Sween.
NOW this is to command you that within one month after Service by Publication hereof
on you, inclusive of the day of such service, you do cause an appearance to be entered for you
in the principal probate Registry of Our High Court of Justice at Kingstown and accept or
refuse letters of administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the
personal representatives of the said deceased, or show cause why letters of administration of
his estate should not be granted to the said Cosmore Pompey.
AND take notice that in default of your so appearing and accepting and extracting
letters of administration as aforesaid our said Court will proceed to grant letters of admin-
istration of the estate of the said Samuel Sween to the said Cosmore Pompey, your absence
notwithstanding.
Dated this 8th day of April 1976 and in the year of our reign.

1. 'Short title. This Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer Industries
(Richard Maloney and James Ollivierre) (Manufacture of Fibre Glass Boats)
Order, 1976.

2. Declaration of Pioneer Manufacturers. Richard Maloney and James
Ollivierre carrying on business under the name of The Parish Workshop are
hereby declared pioneer manufacturers for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer
Industries Ordinance, 1952, in relation to the pioneer factory situate at Port
Elizabeth, Bequia and to the establishment and operation of manufacturing
plant for the manufacture of fibre glass boats (by virtue of the provisions of the
Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of Fibre Glass Boats) Order, 1976 (No.
5 of 1976) and for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952).

2. Construction Day. Construction day was the 30th day of June 1975.

4. Production Day. Production day was the 15th day of March 1976.
