'His Excellency the Governor, on the advice
6f the Public Service Commission, has approved
the appointment of Miss BERYL BAPTISTE, Senior
Examiner of Accounts as Director of Audit,
Audit Department with effect from 17th March
3rd February, 1976.
Consequent on the resignation of Mr. BERTRAM
COMMISSION, Mr. A. J. DASILVA has been ap-
pointed to serve on the Board of the Develop-
ment Corporation for the unexpired period of
the life of the Board, with effect from 14th
3rd February, 1976.
VACANT POST OF SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER,
Applications are invited from suitably quali-
fled persons for the vacant post of Senior Medical
Officer, Ministry of Health, Housing, Community
Development &, Local Government, St. Vincent.
Qualifications: Medical qualifications regis-
trable in the United Kingdom, including a
3 P. 9 2?P
qualification and experience. in Public Iecalth.
Experience in a similar post in the Caribbean
would be an asset..
Salary and Allowances: The appointment may
be on a permanent and pensionable basis, or on
contract for a period of two to three years a'nd
will be subject to medical fitness. Salary $13,200
E.C., plus pay addition of $900 per annum along
with Overseas Service Aid Scheme allowances
where the. successful candidate qualifies for
these. If on contract 25% of salary is payable
as gratuity on successful completion. Private
practice is not allowed, but an allowance of 25%
of salary is payable in lieu thereof. A trans-
port allowance is attached to the post.
Passages: Free passages in the case of a
contract, return passages will be provided forf
the officer, his wife and children not exceeding
jix persons in all. Children must be under 18
years of age, unmarried and dependent on the
Quarters: If Government quarters are avail-
able these will be rented to the officer at a rental.

SLeave- Thirty (30) working days per annum
