The present salary is at $11,700 p.a. Trans-
port Allowance is also paid. The,present post
is not pensionable and arrangements are to be
made to bring all workers of the C.W.A. under

POST OFFICE (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS


(Gazetted 23rd December, 1975).


1. Short title. These Regulations may be cited as the Post Office (Amend-
ment) Regulations 1975, and shall be read as one with the Post Office Regula-
tions, 1938 (Gazetted 1st February, 1938) and all amendments thereto.
2.. Regulation 269' of principal Regulations revoked and replaced.
Regulation 269 of the principal Regulations is hereby revoked and replaced
as follows:-
"269. The following rates of poundage shall be payable on the
several denominations of Postal Orders issued in the
State, namely:-

7/'p to 121/2p 7Vop (36B E.C.)
15 p to 1 8 p (40O E.C.)

STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS,

1975, No. 32.


PRICE AND DISTRIBUTION OF GOODS REGULATIONS 1975.


(Gazetted 23rd December, 1975).


1. Short title. These Regulations may be cited as the Price and Distribu-
tion of Goods Regulations 1975.
2. Issue of Identification Card. (i) The Licensing Authority shall issue
every Price Control Officer with an identification card containing the following:
(a) Name and address of the bearer
(b) Signature of the bearer
(c) Passport size picture of the bearer
(d) Signature of the Licensing Authority
(ii) A Price Control Officer shall, if so required by a person carry
ing on a business, produce his Identification Card.
(iii) A uniformed member of the Royal St. Vincent Police Force
shall not be required to hold an identification card.
3. Application for Trader's Licence. (a) Every person carrying on
business shall apply to the Licensing Authority for a Trader's Licence by the
31st day of December in each year and shall furnish the Licensing Authority
with the particulars set out in FORM 1 of the First Schedule.
(b) Any person who fails to obtain renewal of his licence shall
after the 31st day of January in each year be considered to be trading without
a licence and shall be guilty a,-offi cen

6. Register of Trader's. The Licensingg Authority shall cause a register
to be kept containing the names and addresses of every person who has been
issued with a trader's licence.

7. Issue of Identification Card to Traders. The Licensing Authority
may issue an identification card to any person carrying on a business.

8. Calculation of Prices. Every person carrying on business shall calcu-
late the prices of commodities the mark up or maximum price of which has
been fixed and shall submit the selling price to the Licensing Authority for
verification and approval before such commodities are exposed or offered for
sale.

9. Re-Pricing of Goods. When goods the mark up or maximum price
of which has been fix( I by an order have been marked with a selling price,
a person carrying on I business shall not subsequently mark such goods with a
higher price.

10. Offences and Penalties. Any person who contravenes or fails to
comply with any of the provisions of these Regulations shall be-guilty of an
offence.


Made by the Governor under Section 6 of the Price and Distribution of
Goods Act 1975 (No. 33 of 1975) this 16th day of December, 1975.
