TREASURY BILL


ISSUE NO. 14


Tenders are invited for the issue of St. Vincent Government Treasury Bills which will be
-made to the amount of $800,000.
These bills will be in denominations of $500, $1000, $5000, $10,000, $50,000, $100,000 and
-will be payable at par ninety one days after the date of issue. They will be issued on Satur-
day 20th December, 1975, and will be payable on Saturday 20th March, 1976.
Each tender must be for an amount of not less than $1000, and must specify the amount
which will be given for every one hundred dollars of the amount tendered.
Application forms are available at the Treasury and the Government Banks, and when
completed should be forwarded to the Financial Secretary, Ministry of Finance in sealed
envelopes addressed:

Ministry Building
The application must reach the Ministry of Finance not later than 12 noon on Wednesday
17th December, 1975.

It is hereby notified for general information
that by Regulations made under the Residence
Act 1975 (No. 37 of 1975) and published on
14th November, 1975 all persons who do not
belong to St. Vincent and are applying for a
permit for permanent, temporary or extension
of temporary residence are required to pay an
application fee of $20.00 on the submission
of an application form.
On the grant of a permit of permanent resi-
dence the following fees shall be payable:-
1. Caricom citizen ... $ 50.00
2. Commonwealth citizen .. $100.00
3. Aliens .., $200.00

THE GAMBLING, LOTTERIES AND
BETTING ORDINANCE 1968



It is promulgated for the information of the
general public that applications for the grant
of Betting Licence or a Permit to carry on such
business as is mentioned in paras. (a) and (b)
of Sub-section 1 of Section 30 of the Gambling,
Lotteries and Betting Ordinance 1968 or a Per-
mit to operate a Pinball Machine under Section
15 of the said Ordinance or Pinball Machine
Licence will be considered on 17th December,
197:5, at Police Headquarters at 4.30 p.m.

Applications addressed to the Chairman must
reach' th' Authority not later than 6th Decem-
ber, 1975.

Any person who desires to object to the grant
by the Authority of any particular Permit or
Licence should send to the Authority before 6th
of December, 1975, two copies of a brief state-
ment in writing of the grounds of his objections.

THE GAMBLING, LOTTERIES AND
BETTING ORDINANCE 1968


Persons desirous of making application to
carry on the following:-
(a) business of receiving or negotiating bets
or conducting betting operation, or,


(e) two references as to character.

It should further be noted that in making an
application for a licence, the applicant should
state:-
(a) that he is the holder of a permit, and
(b) submit a plan, sufficient to show the lay-
out and location of the said premises and
the means of access thereto.

In addition, the applicant should comply with
the following:-
(a) send-copy of application to appropriate
Police Officer,
(b) publish in the new-spaper circulating in
Saint Vincent, -a notice of the application,
not later than twenty-eight days before
the hearing of any such application.
(c) Send copy of newspaper containing pub-
lication to the authority not later than
seven days after advertisement.

Persons wishing to object to the grant of a
permit in respect of any premises should send
to the Authority two copies of the grounds of
objection, not later than ten days after pub-
lication of advertisement.

Forms of application may be obtained at the
Inland Revenue Office or Police Headquarters.
