fied persons for the vacant post of Magistrate,
Judicial Department, St.; Vincent.
Qualifications
ApliRants must be qualified Barristers-at-
Law, arid must have at least three to five years
experience as'such.

Duties
Those normally required of a Magistrate and
any others, not inconsistent with these, which
the Senior Magistrate may assign.
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
(a) Salary will be paid in the scale $8,040 X
$360-$8,760 X $480-$10,200 pl i' ;:y
addition of $900 per annum:. The point
of entry will depend on the qualifications
and experience of the successful appli-
cant. Private Practice is not allowed;
'(b) Appointment may either be on-a perman-
ent pensionable or contractual basis. If
oni contract, the period willibe for three
years initially with an option in favour
of the Government to renew it;
(c) The successful applicant must. be passed
medically fit, and may be required to
serve a period of probation if appointed
on a permanent and pensioaibl e basis;
(d) 25% gratuity will:be payable in respect
of a contractual appointment if success-
ful]y comltheted;
(e) Vacation. leave will be granted. at the
rate of 30 working days per annum of
which twelve (12) working days must be
taken annually, after completing one (1)
year's resident service;
(f) If available, government, quarters will be
assigned to an eApatriate,; officer at a
rental of 121/% of salary or 5%, of the

capital value of the quarter, up to a
maximum of $100 per month. If no
quarter is available, a house allowance
of 121/y% salary up to a maximum of
$100 will be paid. These rates are sub-
ject to change from time to time;
(g) Air economy passages will be paid ,for
the successful applicant, his wife and
up to four children under the a6e Qf
18 years, unmarried and dependent oJ
the officer. Charges for the shipment
of personal effects not, exceediing, fiye
shipping tons (200) cubic,.feet.),, eycl-
sive of the free baggage allowances on
air tickets, will be met by Government;
(h) The successful applieani will le subject
to the St. Vincent Civil Service Orders,
the Financial and Store Rules, the Rules

VACANT POST.


The Development Corporation is setting up
an Industrial Extension Arm. Under its small
Industry Credit Scheme the Corporation has
financed over 30 Small Industries in the State.


The Corporation sees the need to monitor the
operations of these and future Industries.

To that end the services of an expert is being
obtained to advise these Industries on manage-
ilet tehn iiqes, e.g.; accounting systems, in-
velitory control, etc.

A loc.l counterpart is therefore required to
understudy the expert, with a view to filling
the post when the expert leaves.

Applicants are expected to be qualified in the
Business Administration, Accounting or related
field.

Starting Salary $6,000 per annum.

CONTRACT


1. The contract will be for a period of one year and all trips must be done in daylight and
in accordance with the times appearing herewith in the first schedule.

2. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivery of. mails and parcels direct to
and from Post Offices at Port Elizabeth and Mustique in the Northern Grenadines.

3. Applicant will be required to state the arrangements that would be made for a replacement
of the contract vessels in the event of breakdown in the service. Any vessel substituted
should have the approval of the Ministry of Communications, Works and Labour.

4. The contract may be terminated by one month's notice on either side.

5. No tender will be accepted if the Motor Vessels tendered are not licensed under the Pas-
senger Boats Ordinance 1906 to carry passengers, and their Masters must- holdcertificates
of competency in accordance with Regulations 18 and 19 of S.R. 0. 31 of 1957.

6. Tenders must state the amount of subsidy required and they should be addressed to the
Secretary, Central Supply Tenders Board, Ministry of Finance, Ministerial Building,
Kingstown, in sealed envelopes distinctly marked "Tenders for Conveyance of Mails and
Passengers to and from the Northern Grenadines," to reach him not later than 3.00 p.m.
on Thursday 18th September 1975.


7. Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest of any tender.

(MANUFACTURE OF GARMENTS) ORDER, 1975.


(Gazetted 9th September, 1975).


1. Short title. This'Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer Industries
(Patricia Reddock) (Manufacture of Garments) Order, 1975.
2. Declaration of Pioneer Manufacture. Patricia Reddock .carrying.on
business under the name of Patrice Fashions 'is hereby declared a pioneer
manufacturer for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer.Industries Ordinance, 1952,
in relation to the Industrial Estate situate at Campden Park and to th-establish-
ment and operation of a manufacturing plant for the manufacture of Fashion
Garments for men, women and children (by virtue of the provisions of the
Aid to Pioneer Industries (Manufacture of-Garments) Order, 1965 (S.R. & 0.
No. 16 of 1965) and for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance,
1952).
