OPENING OF A NEW SESSION


The first meeting of the First Session of the House of Assembly after the
General Election will be held at the Assembly Chamber on Thursday, 2nd
January, 1.975 at 10.00 a.m.-when, His Excellency the Governor will deliver
the Throne Speech and formally open the New Parliament.
A cordial invitation is extended to the general public to attend subject to
the following arrangements for seating and standing accommodation.
The General Public is hereby notified that approximately 300 chairs .will
be available in the Assembly Chamber proper for accommodation of Senior
Civil Servants, the Clergy, other persons prominent in the life of the Com-
munity, and the general public. Special seating accommodation will be
arranged for the wives of Members of the House.
I Unfortunately, there will only be limited standing space available.

POST OF-LAUNDRY SUPERVISOR.

Applications are invited from suit-
ably qualified persons for the post of
Laundry Supervisor at the Kingstown
General Hospital.
Applicants must have a good stand,
ard of general education, and must
possess a sound' knowledge of launder-
ing procedures. Previous experience
in a similar position will be an advant-
age.
The successful applicant will assume
responsibility for the whole of the
laundering service, including the keep-
ing of records, and supervision of Staff,
and lie will work under the direction of
the Hospital Superintendent.
Salary is in the Scale V41-33 $1620
X $60 $1800 X $120 $2400.
Commencing salary will depend on
qualifications and experience, with two
recent testimonials, should be sent to--

POST OF DIRECTOR, LIBERTY LODGE
TRAINING CENTER

Applications are invited from suitably
qualified male Vincentians between the
ages 25 40 years for the vacant, post
of Director, Liberty Lodge Training
Centre. .
Qualifications: Applicants should pos-
sess a qualification in Sociology, Social
Work or related field. Consideration
will be given to candidates of diploma
status in social work. Expe ience in
administration and .in work with serious-
ly deprived and delinquent persons
would be a valuable asset.


Duties: The successful applicant will
be responsible for the efficient adminis-
tration of the centre and for devising
appropriate programmes for the rehab-
ilitation of trainees. He will partici-
pate in activities not inconsistent with
his post of Director of a school of reform.
Salary: $7,320 X $360-$8,400.
Applications in the candidates own
writing accompanied by two (2) recent
testimonials and proof of qualifications
should lie forwarded to the Chief Per-
sonnel Officer, Service Conmmissions De-
partment not later than 15th January,
1975.

HOSPITAL, MINISTRY OF HEALTH,
HOUSING AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

Applications are invited for two
posts of Ambulance Driver in the Medi-
cal and Health Department. The suc-
cessful applicants will be posted to the
Kingstown General Hospital.
2. Applicants should be between
the ages of 20 and 35 years and should
hold a valid driving licence free from
endorsement.
3. The posts is pensionable and
salary will be paid in the scale $1740X
$60 $1800 X $120 $2520 X $180
-$2880.

recent testimonials and a Medical certi-
ficate of fitness which includes a
satisfactory eye test, should be
