TENDERS FOR MOTOR OAR SERVICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the
proviAion of Motor car service for the
conveyance of public officers during
1975.
The- Tenders submitted should con-
tain particulars of the charges proposed
to be made for waiting.
The Contract may be terminated by
one month's "notice on either side, and
the person to whom the Contract 'is
awarded will be required to enter in
a bond with the Government for the
satisfactory performance of the Con-
tract.
Tenders close at 3 p.m. on Friday
27th December, 1974, and should he
addressed to the Chairman, Teiders
Board, Ministry "of Finance, Kingstdwn
and distinctly marked on the envelope

Government does not bind itself to
accept the lowest or any tender.


SUPPLY OF FOOD YEAST BISCUITS

Tenders are hereby invited and will
be received up to 3 p.m. on Friday 27th
December, 1914, for tiie supply of Food
Yeast Biscuits to the Education Depart-,
ment during the year 1975.
The estimated requirements have
been placed at 1,350 tins per annum
and the supplier must guarantee to
supply 450 tins atthe beginning of each
term and to deliver same in good condi-
tion at Primary Schools on the main-
land and Grenadines as directed by the
Chief Education Officer.
Sny delivery charge should be stated
in the Tender separate from the actual
price of the commodity.
Tenders are to be addressed to the
Chairman, Tenders Board, Ministry of
Finance and the envelope sealed and
marked 'Tenders for the Supply of
Food Yeast Biscuits'.
Government does not bind itself to
accept the lowest or any tender.


UNIFORMS FOR POSTMEN

Tenders are invited for supplying
Sand making Uniforms for 'Postmen for
the year ending 31st December, 1975.


The Uniforms consist of long brown
Terylene Trousers and beige cotton
shirts, long sleeves with two (2) flap
pockets and shoulder straps, and the
requirements are for approximately
(20) twenty postmen. Samples should
be submitted with the Tender.
Tenders which will be received up to
3 p.m. on Friday 27th December, 1974
must be sealed and addressed to the
Chairman Central Supply Tenders
Board; Ministry of Finance, Kingstown
and distinctly marked on the envelope
'Tenders for the supply of Postmen
Uiforms'.


TENDERS FOR THE SUPPLY OF
UNIFORMS

Tenders Are invited for supplying
,ancd making khaki drill uniforms for
Port Guards, Customs Guards, Attend-
ants at the Institutions and Workerstat
the Health Department for the year
1975.
The drill used must be of the same
shade and texture for each uniform,
and sample should be submitted with
the Tender.
Uniforms consist of long trousers and
short sleeved shirts with two flap
pockets and shoulder straps and the
requirements are for approximately
160 men.
Tenders which will be received up to
3 p.m. on Friday 27th December, 1974
must be sealed and addressed to the
Chairman, Tenders Board, Ministry of-
:Finance, Kingstown and distinctly
marked on the envelope 'Tenders for
the supply of Uniforms'.
The Government does not bind itself
to accept the lowest or any tender, and
reserve the right to accept any part of
a tender.

part of a tender. 'Nothing in any con-
tract which may -be entered into will
be considered as affecting the right of
the Government to import at any time
any articles it may require not with-
standing such supply is contracted for
locally.
The attention of parties tendering
is particularly directed to the 'condi-
tions of contract' inserted at the end of
this notice, which will be binding to
them.

CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

1. The Contract to be from st,
January to 31st December, 1975.
2. The Contractor undertakes to
/
deliver at his own expenses into the
stores of Institutions the articles placed
opposite his own name at the price
stated, on such days, at sucIh times and
in such quantities as may be stated on
the requisition of the Head of Depart-
ment or officer in charge.

3. Every article supplied must be of
a sound, good quality and no article is
to be substituted for the one requisi-
tioned for without the "consent of the
requisitioning o ffi c e.r first being
obtained.

4. Any articles considered by the
Head of Department or officer in charge
to be of inferior quality may be reject-
ed by him, and shall be immediately
removed and replaced by the Contrac-
tor at his own expense without any
allowance being made to him for such
articles.

6. Should the Contractor neglect
to refuse to replace rejected articles
contracted for at the time stated in
the requisition, the Head of Department
or Officer in charge shall be at liberty
to purchase the saidarticles-from other
persons; and the difference between the
price paid for such articles and the
contract price shall be deducted from
the next-payment made to the Con-
tractor.
7. The Head of Department or
Officer, in charge may, if he should
deem it necessary, purchase articles of
perishable food such as bread, meat,
etc., at once to replace rejected articles.


8. All fresh 'meat contracted for
must be slaughtered in the slaughter
house in Kingstown.
9. If the Contractor should persist
in such irregularities as stated in para-
graph 6, the Minister of Finance shall
have the power to terminate the con-
tract immediately 'or at. such time as
may appear to -him proper and con-
venient.
10. The Contract may be_terminated
at any time by one month's notice being
given either by the Contractor to the
Minister of Finance or by the Minister-
of Finance to the Contractor.
