death of Mr. ARTHUR WELBY DALRYMPLE, Chief Technical Officer, Min-
istry of Communications and Works, which occurred on Tuesday March
19, 1974.

VACANT POST OF BUILDING INSPECTOR/
DRAUGHTSMAN, CENTRAL HOUSING
AND PLANNING AUTHORITY,
MINISTRY OF HEALTH, HOUSING AND
LOCAL GOVERNMENT.


Applications are invited from suit-
ably qualified persons for the vacant
post of Building Inspector/Draughts-
man, Central Iousing and Planning
Authority, Ministry of Health, Housing
and Local Government.

Applicants should have at least 3
years experience in drafting, be widely
experienced in all aspects of building
inspection and must have a sound
knowledge and understanding of the
Building Regulations and other associ-
ated Building Legislation. They will
also be expected to acquire a good
knowledge of development control and

legislation relating thereto.
Salary will be paid in the scale of
$2700 X, $180 $3600 X $240 -
$4560, the point of entry to which will
be determined by qualifications and
experience.

The successful applicant will be
required to keep a car for the perform-
ance of his duties. Travelling will be
paid in accordance with local
regulations.

Applications in the applicant's own
handwriting giving particulars of past
appointments, experience and qualifi-
cations and the names and addresses of


two referees, together with two recent
testimonials one of which must be from
his lasl employer, must be submitted
not later than 5th April, 1974 to the
Chief Personnel Officer, Service Com-
missions Department, Kingstown.

INCOME TAX NOTICES

TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC

Every person, not being an employed)
person is hereby reminded that the
latest date for the submission of Income
Tax Returns for Assessment in the-
year 1974 is 31st March, 1974, and that
failure to give notice of chargeability
is an offence against the Income Tax
Ordinance rendering the person. con-
cerned liable on summary conviction
to a penalty not exceeding ONE,
THOUSAND DOLLARS and in default
of payment to imprisonment with or
without hard labour for a term not
exceeding four months, and after-
judgement has been given for that
penalty to a further penalty of fifty
dollars for every day during which the
refusal, failure or neglect to render.
any document continues.
2. EVERY PERSON whose income
accruing in, derived from the State or
elsewhere and whether received in the
State or not for the preceding year is
required to submit a return in the*
prescribed form notwithstanding that
on account of approved deductions no.
tax may eventually be chargeable, and
particular attention is directed to the
fact that the term "income" i deemed
to include not only money ut also,
allowances in kind.
3. Efforts are being made to send
forms to such persons. It is to be
clearly understood, however, that th'e
Income Tax Department is under no
obligation to send a return' form 'to
anyone and that a person is not exon-
erated from the statutory liability of'
making a return even though a form
may not have been received from the,
Department.

Forms may be obtained, on applica-
tion. at the Revenue Offices at George-
town, Barrouallie, Bequia and Union
Island, or in any other district from the
Police Station situated therein or from
.the Income Tax Department, Kings-
town, where any person requiring in-
formation in connection therewith is
invited to inquire.
4. The form correctly completed
should be accompanied by all necessary
statements. Specimens of the form
of account required from small traders
and from occuniers or cultivators of
land will be supplied on request.

TAKE NOTICE that in accordance
with the provisions of S. 42 of the above-
mentioned Ordinance the Magistrate of
the Second District shall hold a Special
Session at the Court House, Georgetown,
on Monday, the 1st day of April, 1974, at


10 o'clock in the forenoon for the pur-
pose of hearing appeals against assess-
ments and demands made for rates, in
respect of houses and lots of land, by the
Georgetown Town Board.

The Petition of Charles Soso of Kingstown and George Ashton of Richmond
Hill hereinafter called "the Petitioners" showeth as follows:-
1. 'The Petitioners are contributories members and/or share-holders of the
St. Vincent Working-men Co-operative Association Limited hereinafter
called "the COMPANY".

2. The Company was incorporated on the 2nd day of July, 1936 with a
share capital of $24,000.00 of ordinary $1.00 share and its registered
office is in Kingstown.
3. That on or about the 19th day of October, 1973 the COMPANY went
into Voluntary Liquidation.
4. The Company -has not compiled with the rules principles and Laws of
of the Companies Act in respect to the Voluntary windinig-up.
5. The Company failed to appoint Liquidators for the'purpose of the
winding-up of the General affairs of the Company.
6. That the Company has not distributed the assets of the Company among
all members, contributories and/or share-holders according to their
rights and interest in the Company.
7. The Petitioners wish the Court to determine the following matters:-
(a) Appoint an official Liquidator.
(b) Direct meeting of members and or contributories to ascertain their
wishes and appoint a person to act as chairman.
(c) To ascertain the assets of the Company and the debts and liabilities
of the Company if any.
(d) Determine whether any security or what security to be given by
the official Liquidator.
(e) Determine the power of the official Liquidator. -
(f) Order payment of the Company's assets into a Bank and ascertain
the rights of interested members and share-holders.
(g) Adjust rights of Contributories and declare their benefits.
(h) Order Costs. I

The Company and the following persons are required to be served with this
Petition.
1. Rudolph Baynes of Kingstown.
2. Bertram DeShong of Kingstown.
