Notice is hereby given that the St. Vincent Planned Parenthood Associa-
tion in St. Vincent intends to promote a Private Bill for an Act to provide for
the Incorporation of the Trustees of the said St. Vincent Planned Parenthood
Association.

OBJECT AND REASON

The object of the Bill is to provide for the Incorporation of the St. Vincent
Planned Parenthood Association in St. Vincent as a corporation aggregate.

TREASURY BILLS


ISSUE NO. 6.
Tenders are invited for the issue of St. Vincent Government Treasury Bills
which will be made to the amount of one million, eight hundred thousand dollars
($1,800,000).
These Bills will be in denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $50,000,
$100,000 and will be payable at par ninety-one days after the date of issue.
They will be issued on Thursday 21st March, and will be payable on Wednesday
19th June, 1974.
Each tender must be for an amount of not less than $1000, and must specify-
the amount which will be given for every one hundred dollars of the amount
tendered.
Application forms are available at the Treasury and the Commercial Banks,
and when completed should be forwarded to the Financial Secretary, Ministry-
of Finance in sealed envelopes addressed:-

Applications must reach the Ministry of Finance not later than 3 p.m. on
Monday 18th -March, .1974.

Applications are invited for suitably
qualified persons for the post of Warden,
at the Nurses' Hostel, New Montrose.

Qualifications: Applicants should be
females between the ages of 30 and 45
with good basic education. Preference
will be given to persons with previous
experience in working with groups of
young people.

Salary: $3,600 X $240-$4,800. The
starting point is dependent on qualifica-
tions and, experience.

Duties: The iostel has accommoda-
tion for 50 Nurses. The Warden will
be required to maintain order arid disci-
pline among 'the resident nurses, and to
promote their generalwelfare. She will
be responsible for the upkeep and main-
tenanceof thbe building and compound,
which also hoisei the School of Nursing.

provided at the lHostel, for which, rental
wilL be, p4yabl in accordance with local.
regulations.

VACANCY FOR ASSISTANT LEGAL
COUNSEL

Applications are invited from suit-
ably qualified persons for the post of
Assistant Legal Counsel in the Carib-
bean Community Secretariat.

2. Duties: The duties of the post
include
(i) interpretation and application
of the Treaty Establishing the
the Caribbean Community in-
cluding the Common Market
and of related instruments;
(ii) drafting international agree-
ments as well as rules of pro-
cedure for the Organs and
Institutions of tkh Community
and Common Market;
(iii) undertaking studies in certain
,areas of the laws of Member
States of the Common Market
with a view to harmonising
those laws;


(iv) dealing with any other matters
of a legal nature affecting the
Caribbean Community Secre-
tariat.
3. Qualifications: Applicants should
be members of the legal profession who
have had formal training in either the
Law of International Institutions or the
Law of Treaties, or both, together with
a fair amount of practical experience in
either or both areas of International
Law.
4. Salary and Allowances: The sal-
ary of the post is G $18,879 per annum.
In addition the holder will be paid a
house allowance of G$3,255 per annum.

town, Barrouallie, Bequia and Union
Island, or in any other district from the
Police Station situated therein or from
the Income Tax Department, Kings-
town, where any person requiring in-
formation in connection therewith is
invited to inquire.

Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the 'House of Assembly of
Saint Vincent, and by the authority of the same as follows:-
1. This Act may be cited as the Price and Distribution of Short title.
Goods (Amendment) Act, 1974, and shall be read as one with
the Price and Distribution of Goods Act, 1970 (hereinafter No. 47 of 1970.
referred to as the principal Act) and all amendments thereto.


2. Section 6(2) of the principal Act ifiereby amended
by replacing all the words and symbols appearing- after ', nd

Ordinance.

Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty,
by and with the advice and consent of the House of Assembly ,
'of -Saint Vincent, and, by the authority of the same,
as follows:-
1. This Act may be cited as the House of Assembly Short title.
Elections (Amendment) Act, 1974, and shall be read as one *
with the House of Assembly Elections Ordinance (hereinafter No. 13 of 1951.
referred to as the 'principal Ordinance) and all amendments
thereto.
2. In respect of the year one thousand nine hundred Section'6A of
and seventy-four Section 6A of the principal Ordinance is the principal
hereby amended as follows Ordinance
By deleting the words "thirty-first day of March"
appearing in subsection (2) thereof and substituting
therefore the words "thirty-first day of May".

AN ACT to amend the Birds and Fish Protection Ordinance,
Cap. 44.
[ 12th March, 1974. ]

Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the House of Assembly
of Saint Vincent and by the authority of the same as follows:-
1. This Act may be cited as the Birds and Fish Protection Short title.
(Amendment) Act, 1974, and shall be read as one with the Cap. 44.
Birds and Fish Protection Ordinance (hereinafter referred to
as the principal Ordinance) and all amendments thereto.

2. Section 10(1) of the principal Ordinance is repea \e tibn 1,1

PRICE AND DISTRIBUTION OF GOODS (NO. 4)
ORDER.


(AMENDMENT)


(Gazetted 12th March, 1974.)

1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the Price and Distribution
of Goods (No. 4) (Amendment) Order, 1974, and shall be read as one with the
Price and Distribution of Goods (No. 2) Order, 1971 (S. R. & 0. No. 27 of
1971) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order) and all amendments
. thereto.
1 2. Interpretation. Order 2 of the principal Order is hereby amended by
inserting infmediately after the definition of Area "C" the following:-
"As regards that part of the Schedule relating to fresh fish, Area "A"
means all areas other than those in Area "B", and Area "B" means the
areas of Chateaubelair, Layou, Barronallie, RRose Bank, Campden .Park,
Shipping Bay. Arnos Vale, Clare Valley, .('alliaqua and-the (Girenadines.
3. Principal Order amended. The principal Order' is hereby amended
by revoking that part of the Schedule relating to fresh fish and substituting
therefore the following:-
