Associated States in succession to Mr.
Ivo SEYMOUR DESOUZA.

POST OF BINDER PUBLIC LIBRARY

Applications are invited from suitably
qualified persons, for appointment to the
new post of Binder, Public Library in
the Ministry of Education, Community
Development and Youth Affairs.
Applicants should have at least three
years experience in Binding, including
Letter press work and ruling.
The successful applicant will be res-
ponsible for the maintenance, repair and
binding of all books at the St. Vincent
Public Library. He will work at the
Government Printery under the super-
vision of the Government Printer.
The salary of the post will be in the
scale V 38-25 $1,800 X $120-$2,520
X $180-$3,600 X $240-$3,840. The
point of entry in the scale will be
determined by the qualifications and
experience held by the applicant.
The post is non-pensionable and step
will be taken to make it pensionable.

ably qualified persons for appointment
to the post of I 'eadmaster (Graduate)
Grammar Schcol, St. Vincent, West
Indies.
The School i; a Government institu-
tion with an ( 'rolment at present of
553 pupils. The post is pensionable.
The appointment may however be on
contract for a period of three years
if preferred. In this event a gratuity
at the rate of 25% of salary will be
payable on the satisfactory conclusion
of the contract.
The officer will be subject to the
local General Orders for the time being
in force in the State in so far as they
are applicable. The appointment will
be subject to medical fitness and will
be on probation for a period of oc-e
year in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be
required to assume duty in September,
1973.
The salary of the post is at the fix( d
rate of $9,720 per annum.
Applicants should possess a degree
of a University within the British
Commonwealth and must have had ex-
perience of teaching in a Seconda y
School. A Diploma in Education wv'11
be an advantage.
Quarters are not provided. Free
passages to St. Vincent will be pro-
vided for the person appointed, his
wife, and children not exceeding four.
All Government officers are liable to
taxation imposed by local legislation.

to the post of Headmistress (Graduate)
Girls' High School, St. Vincent, West
Indies.
The School is a Government institu-
tion with an enrolment at present of
572 pupils. The post is pensionable.
The appointment may however be on
contract for a period of three years
if preferred. In this event a gratuity
at the rate of 25% of salary will be

HOTEL MIDDLE MANAGEMENT
TRAINING, BARBADOS.

Applications are invited from suit-
ably qualified persons for awards in
Hotel Middle Management Training
tenable at the Samuel Jackman Prescod
Polytechnic, Barbados. The award is
subject to the availability of funds
under the West Indies Training
Scheme.
The course is of two years' duration
and students attend full-tim'. A mini-
mum of six weeks in each year will be
spent gaining appropriate experience
in Industry under Hotel School Super-
vision.
Applicants should be 17 years or
over, and should be in possession of
the General Certificate of Education
or its equivalent with a minimum of
two subjects at ordinary level.
Persons with knowledge and ex-
perience in the hotel industry w 11 also
be considered for entry, if they satisfy
the Hotel School that they can benefit
from the course.
The successful applicant will be re-
quired to sign a bond with Sureties to
return to St. Vincent on completion of
the course.
Applications stating age, academic
qualifications and experience should
reach the Chief Personnel Officer for
the attention of the Training Officer
not later than 16th July, 1973.

POST OF DIRECTOR
NATIONAL PROVIDENT FUND
ST. VINCENT.


Applications are invited from suit-
ably qualified persons for appointment
to the post of Director, National Provi-
dent Fund, St. Vincent.

As Chief Executive Officer of the
Fund, the Director will be responsible
to the Board of Direetors for the
general direction, control and super-
vision of all aspects of the Fund's
operations. To this end the Director
will be expected to have proven mana-
gerial experience and should have a
good working knowledge of modern
accounting principles and practices.
He should be able to manage and moti-
vate a growing staff.

Salary will be at the rate of $9,720
per annum. A travelling allowance is
also payable.

The post is presently non-pension-
able but the status of a serving
pensionable officer will be preserved.

Applications giving details of age,
education, experience and the names
of two references should be addressed
(and clearly marked CONFIDEN-
TIAL) to the Chairman, National
