threatening or approaching the Island, the following warnings will be given:-

Announcements.
(3) Three saluting guns will be!
fired.

VACANT POST

HOSPITAL SUPERINTENDENT

Applications are invited from persons
of graduate level, with a view to train-
ing and eventual appointment as Hospi-
tal Superintendent (Administrator).
2. The successful applicant will be
offered a PAHO/WHO Fellowship of
one year's post-graduate study in Hos-
pital Administration.
3. On appointment, he would be re-
sponsible for all matters concerning the
daily running of the hospital, for the
provision and distribution of all neces-
sary supplies and equipment and for the
maintenance of the hospital grounds
and buildings. IHe would generally su-
pervise and direct members of the cleri-
cal, domestic and maintenance staff, ef-
fect purchasing of drugs and equipment
and be responsible for the maintenance
of a proper accounting system of book-
keeping.
4. Salary of the post will be in the
scale V14-8 $6,960 x $360-$8,760 x
$480-$9240.
5. Applications in writing giving
full particulars, experience and proof
of educational qualifications, together
with two (2) recent testimonials should
be addressed to the Chief Personnel Offi-
cer, Service Commissions Department,
Kingstown, St. Vincent. and should
reach him not later than 5th July, 1971.

that Mr. SAVLET AKTUO has been ap-
pointed Consul General of Turkey in
London with jurisdiction throughout the
United Kingdom, the Associated States
and British dependent territories. Mr.
A -TUG has succeeded Mr. CELADET
KUJASI.
Provisional recognition has been ac-
corded to Mr. AKTUG by the Government
of St. Vincent pending receipt of his
Commission of Appointment and the is-
sue of the Queen's Exequatur.

ment General Receipt No. 979960 is re-
ported missing from the Receipt Book
No. 379901-980000 which was issued
to the General Post Office.
Members of the public are hereby
warned against accepting the said re-
ceipt as being official from any person
purporting to be an authorized Revenue
Collector.

VACANT POST OF WARDEN,
KINGSTOWN TOWN BOARD.



Applications are invited for the va-
cent nost of Warden, Kingstown Town
Board.

The post is pensionable, and will be
filled on a permanent or contractvil
basis or by secondment of a suitable
senior officer from the St. Vincent Pub-
lic Service.

Applicants for the post should have
had at least five (5) years experience in
a senior administrative' capacity and
should have a sound knowledge of a -
counting procedures. Experience in
building and road construction will be
an advantage, but is not necessarily a
condition of appointment.

The Warden shall perform such duties
as are imposed upon him by the Kings-
town Board Act or any other law in
force in St. Vincent. His duties shall
include:
(a) performance of the duties of se-
nior administrative officer of the
town Board Office';


(b) preparation of Revenue and Ex-
penditure Estimates and ensur-
ing that all projects are done
within the approved Budges of
the Board;

(c) supervision of projects undir-
taken by the Board;

(d) attendance at meetings of the
Board and responsibility for the
compilation of Minutes of Meet-
ings;
(e) supervision of all elections to the
Board;
(f) responsibility for the proper op-
eration of the Kingstown Market;
(g) any other duties, not inconsistent
with the post, that the Board may
require him to perform.

Salary of the post is $9,240 p.a. and
a commuted Travelling Allowance of
$816.00 p.a. is payable provided a suit-
able means of transport is maintained.
Quarters are not provided.

Applications in the applicant's own
handwriting, with two recent testimo-
nials-one from his latest employer,
should be addressed to the Chairman,
Kingstown Town Board to reach him
not later than 30th June, 1971.

fic Ordinance No. 20 of 1940.

It is hereby notified for general infor-
mation that the undermentioned portion

TWO WAY with effect from Monday
21st June, 1971.

Kingstown Park to Old Montrose, be-
tween Mr. Ivan Richards' residence and
the Road leading to Lodge Village".
