ABSENCE OF THE HONOURABLE MINISTER FOR AGRICULTURE,
TRADE AND TOURISM

The Hon. J. F. MITCHELL, Minister for Agriculture, Trade and Tourism
left St. Vincent today for Guyana on official duties.
17th November, 1970.

APPOINTMENT


Consequent on the absence from the State of the Hon. J. F. MITCHELL,
Minister for Agriculture, Trade and Tourism, the Hon. R. MILTON CATO, Premier
and Minister of Finance, has been appointed to act as Minister for Agriculture,
Trade and Tourism in conjunction with his substantive duties with effect from
17th November, 1970 and until further notice.

DEPARTMENTAL NOTICE



Notice is hereby given that the Electors' Roll for the Layou Town Board
can be seen and inspected at the following places:-
The Warden's Office-Layon Town Board
Layou Police Statioin.
The Returning Officer wiil 1;e in attendance at the Warden's Office, Layou
,Town Board, Layou, on Monday 30th November, 1970 from 10.00 a.m. to
2.00 p.m., to receive Nominations for the election of four (4) members to serve
wa the Layou Town Board for the term commencing 1st January, 1971 to 31st
December, 1972.

The Retiring members are Messrs. Clive Charles, William Hannaway,
Robert Melville and Mrs. Venice Patrick. They are eligible for re-election.

Should a Poll be required it will be taken at the Warden's Office, Layou
Town Board, Layou, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and from 1.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
(on 7th December, 1970.
