MISTRESS ST. VINCENT GRAMMAR
SCHOOL.

Applications are invited from suitably
qualified and/or experienced persons for
appointment to the post of non-Graduate


Assistant Master/Mistress St. Vincent
Grammar School which becomes vacant
in January 1970.
Duties: The successful applicant will
be expected to teach French to the Lower
and Middle School, and in view of the
re-organisation of the Modern Language
Department to meet the demands of the
new trend in Language teaching, it is
desirable that the applicant has a fair
command of spoken French. Failing a
suitable applicant, applications may be
considered from a person capable of
teaching English and History to the
Lower and Middle School.
Qualification: "A" Level or its equiv-
alent and/or experience.
Salary: The salary is in; the scale of
$1,788 x $84-$1,872 x $96-$2,160 x
$120-$2,760 x $144-$3,624 x $180-
$4,164.

reach him not later than Tuesday, De-

COURSE ON RURAL PROJECTS-
UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD:
JULY-SEPTEMBER 1970

The University of Bradford has re-
cently set up a Project Planning Centre
for developing countries with the aim of
contributing to improved project plan-
ning. As a. first step, the Centre will
hold a twelve weeks' course on Rural
Projects from 6th July to 25th Septem-
ber 1970. to be conducted by the Centre's
Director, Dr. M. Gane, D'.Phil., M.A.,
13.Sc. (Econ), B.Sc. (Forestry).
The course is intended for all persons
concerned with the planning, evaluation
and implementation of development pro-
jects affecting the rural sector, e.g. agri-
cultural improvement and resettlement
schemes, forestry, fisheries, crop proces-
sing and other rural industries; trans-
port, irrigation, dams, power supplies
etc. A University degree or equivalent
in any relevant subject such as eco-
nomics, engineering, agriculture etc. will
normally be required for admission to
the course.
Officers who are interested in applying
should do so on Form T1, available at
thle Training bifvision, Service Commis-
sions Department. Applications will be
closed on Wednesday 31st, December,
9th D ber, 1969.

THE OWNERS OF PUBLIC
SERVICE VEHICLES, GOODS
VEHICLES AND TRAILERS.
(H., H.T., & T. PLATES)

The attention of persons who own the
types of vehicles mentioned above is
drawn to the provisions contained in
Regulation 20 and 21 and all amend-
meirts thereto of:the Motor Vehieles and
Road Traffic Regulations 1959; whereby
no Licence may be issued or renewed
for such vehicles unless the Inspector
certifies that the vehicle complies with
all the provisions of the Ordinance and
of these Regulations.
The Inspector of Motor Vehicles will
be available at Police Headquarters
daily from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. except
on Sunday and Public Holidays, to en-
sure that all the above mentioned classes
of vehicles are inspected and are road
worthy before January 31, 1970.
Regulation 20 (6) requires that these
vehicles are examined twice annually,
that is before the 30th day of June and
349t day of December in each year.
WARNING
Vehicles which have not been pre-
sent d for ilspect'on or if presented
have not passed the examination by: 31st
January 1970, will be taken off the road.

ber, mathematical a'nd dissecting in-
struments and painting material is the
candidates' responsibility.

Students who are being prepared for
these examinations at the Education
Department's Evening and Saturday
Classes, iUniversity of the West Ihdies,
Extra Mural Classes and the Institute
of Adult Education Classes will be
accepted as Private Candidates. Quali-
fying Tests for these students will be
held at the Grammar School from Mon-
day, 8th to Friday, 12th December,
1969 commencing.at 9.00 a.m. each day.
