as Prison Ofcers in the Saint Vincent
Prison Service.
C-ndmidttes should be between the
ages of 28 Ws 35 years, should be at

36 inches (expanded) and should have
attained the Primary School Leaving
Certificate. Secondary Education will
be an asset.
Applicants must be recommended by
at least two promaint and respectable
citizens.
Salary commences at $1,380 per an-
num and the following allowances are
paid if Applicants qualify for them:-

POLICE NOTICE



THE OWNERS OF PUBLIC
SERVICE VEHICLES, GOODS
VEHICLES AND TRAILERS.
(H., H.T., & T. PLATES)



The attention of persons who own the
types of vehicles mentioned above is
drawn to the provisions contained in
Regulation 20 and 21 and all amend-
ments thereto of the Motor Vehicles and
Road Traffic Regulations 1959, whereby
no Licence may be issued or renewed
for such vehicles unless the Inspector
certifies that the vehicle complies with
all the provisions of the Ordinance and
of these Regulations.

The Inspector of Motor Vehicles will
be available at Police Headquarters
daily from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. except
on Sunday and Public Holidays, to en-
sure that all the above mentioned classes
of vehicles are inspected and are road
worthy before January 31, 1970.

Regulation 20 (6) requires that these
vehicles are examined twice annually,
that is before the 30th day of June and
31st day of December in each year.

WARNING
Vehicles which have not been pre-
sented for inspection or if presented
have not passed the examination by 31st
January 1970, will be taken off the road.
