VACANT POST OF PORT MANAGER,
ANTIGUA
Applications are invited from suitably
qualified candidates for appointment to
the post of Port Manager, Harbour Di-
vision, Ministry of Home Affairs,
Antigua.
2. The post carries a fixed salary of
$10,440, per annum and appointment
which will be on contract for a period
of three (3) years, will be subject to
medical fitness.
3. Candidates should have experi-
ence in Port Management.
4. Further particulars of this post

CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND
PROCEDURES COURSE


It is proposed to hold a short course
on Civil Service Rules and Procedures
for officers who have been two (2) years
in the Civil Service. The Course is
scheduled to commence on Monday the
22nd September, 1969 and the venue is
the Assembly Hall of the Boys' Gram-
mar School. All sessions will be held in
the afternoons commencing at 1.30 p.m.

The Course is part of a Programme
of Inservice Training which has been
worked out in collaboration with the
Department of Government, University
of the West Indies, and which is aimed
at improving the quality and efficiency
of the Civil Service. Lectures will be
given by the University of the West In-
dies Tutor in Public Administration for
the Windward Islands and Senior Ad-
ministrative officers who will also lead
the discussions.
