Union Island will soon be connected
in the mainland telephone system. The
Honourable J. F. MITCnIEL,, representa-
tive of the Grenadine, has stated that
the new 50 line RURAX system has
arrived, and this will be capable of
extemnion to 350 lines.
The Union Ibland telephone ne system
will be connected by VHF radio links
into Kingstown. Buildings plans are
now being checked, and it is expected
that the new exchange will be located
in Ashton.
