IN THE MATTER OF THE ACQUISITION by the Administrator in Council
of a certain parcel of land at Calliaqua in the Parish of St. George for a
public purpose.

DECLARATION OF ACQUISITION OF LAND.

(Gazetted 2nd April, 1968.)
WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Land Acquisition Ordinance
1946 (No. 22 of 1946) that if the Administrator in Council considers that any
land should be acquired for a public purpose he may cause a declaration to
that effect to be made:
AND WHEREAS it is considered by the Administrator in Council that the
undermentioned parcel of land should be acquired for a public purpose, to wit,
the improvement of the Calliaqua Bridge and approach to same:
Now IT Is HEREBY DECLARED by His Honour the Administrator acting in
accordance with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of Saint
Vincent that upon the Second Publication of this Declaration in the Gazette all
that parcel of land at Calliaqua in the Parish of St. George the property of
Mr. .Lisle Gill measuring 5,857 square feet shall vest absolutely in the Crown.
AND IT Is HEREBY FURTHER DECLARED AND NOTIFIED that a plan bearing
the Number G591 showing the above mentioned parcel of land has been prepared
by Clifford E. R. Williams Licensed Land Surveyor and lodged on the 11th

day of December 1967 at the Lands and Surveys Department of Kingstown
in the said Colony and can be inspected at all reasonable hours at the said
Department.

TENDTETS FOR SUPPLY OF FOOD
YEAST BISCUITS.

Tenders are hereby invited for the
supply of Food Yeast Biscuits to the
Education Department during the year
ending 31st December, 1968.
The estimated requirements are 1,350
tins per annum and the supplier must
guarantee to supply 450 tins at the be-
ginning of each term and to deliver same
in good condition at Primary Schools on
Ihwe mainland and in the Grenadines as
directed by the Education Officer.
Any delivery charge should be stated
in the Tender separate from the actual
price of the commodity.
Tenders which will be received up to
3.00 p.m. on Monday, 8th April, 1968,
must be sealed and addressed to the
Secretary, Central Supply Tenders
Board, Ministry of Finance, and marked
on the envelope Tenders for the Supply
of Food Yeast Biscuits."

REGULATIONS.

1. Short title. These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Veli cles
and Road Traffic (Amendment) Regulations, 1968, and shall be read as one
with the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Regulations, 1959 (hereinafter
referred to as the principal Regulitions) and all amendments thereto.
2. Form 5 of First Schedule of principal Regulations revoked and re-
placed. Form 5 of the First Schedule of the principal Regulations is hereby
revoked and replaced with the following:-

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ORDINANCE No. 2 OF 1946.
SECTION 10.

(Gazetted 2nd April, 1968.)

1. DESIGNATION OF SCHEME
The Scheme set out hereunder shall be designated the Ninth Supplementary
Scheme of the Regional Scheme for Kingstown and Surroundings.
2. OBJECT OF THE SCHEME
The object of this Scheme is to permit the establishment of a Grocery or
Dry Goods Store, on the area defined in the Scheme.
3. AREA COVERED BY THE SCHEME
The area covered by the Scheme is situated in Kingstown in the Parish of
St. George, known as No. 11 St. George's Place, and bounded on the North
by the property of the Anglican Church, on the South by Grenville Street, on
the East by the property of Mrs. Cropper and on the West by the property of
Mr. DeSilva.
4. OUTLINE OF THE SCHEME
That portion of land within the area of the Scheme, (Plan, P.1) defined
and declared for certain specific use as described in Paragraph (5).
5. OPERATION OF A GROCERY AND DRY GOODS STORE
The area so described is to be used solely for commercial purposes, viz.-
Grocery or dry goods store; no other type of business would be permitted.

The area covered by the Scheme is situated in Kingstown in the Parish of
St. George, known as No. 5, Bentinck Square, and bounded on the North by
the property of Texaco West Indies Limited, on the South by Tyrell Street, on
the East by Bentinck Square Road, on the West by the property of Mr. Charles
Findlay.
4. OUTLINE OF THE SCHEME
That portion of land within the area of the Scheme, (Plan, P.1) defined
and declared for certain specific use as described in Paragraph (5).
5. OPERATION OF A PETROL SERVICE STATION
The area so described is to be used solely for the operation of a Petrol
Service Station, as per approved plans. No other buildings will be permitted.
