Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council of
Saint Vincent, and by the authority of the same as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Stamp (Amend-
ment) Ordinance, 1968, and shall be read as one with the Stamp
Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance)
and all amendments thereto.


2. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance as replaced by
the Stamp (Amendment) Ordinam.e, 1962, is hereby repealed
and replaced as follows:-

AN ORDINANCE to authorise the payment of a gratuity and
pension to Thomas Saunders, former Teacher and Civil
Servant in the service of the Government of Saint Vincent.
[ 1st April, 1968. ]
Be it enacted by th i Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council of
Saint Vincent, and by th,' authority of the same as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Thomas Saunders Short title.
(Gratuity and Pension) Ordinance, 1968.
2. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of any law to Payment of
the contrary, there shall be paid out of the general revenue of gratuity and
this Colony to Thomas Saunders, formerly a Teacher and a pension.
Civil Servant in the service of the Government of Saint
Vincent, with effect from the date of his retirement from the
said service, a sum byv way of gratuity and pension under the
Pensions Ordinance, 1948. No. 16 of 1948.
(2) The gratuity and pension referred to in subsection
(1) above shall be computed as if the offices of Teacher and
Civil Servant in which the said Thomas Saunders served were

pension to George Frederick Jack, Civil Servant, formerly
a Teacher in the service of the Government of Saint
Vincent.

Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council of
Saint Vincent, and by the authority of the same as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the George Frederick Short title.
Jack (Gratuity and Pension) Ordinance, 1968.


2. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of any law to the
contrary, there shall be paid out of the general revenue of this
Colony to George Frederick Jack, Civil Servant, formerly a
Teacher in the service of the Government of Saint Vincent with
effect from the date of his retirement from the said service, a
sum by way of gratuity and pension under the Pensions' Ordin-
ance, 1948.
(2) The gratuity and pension referred to in subsec-
tion (1) above, shall be computed as if the offices of Teacher
and Civil Servant in which the said George Frederick Jack

of Saint Vincent and his periods of service as Teacher and Civil
Servant shall be aggregated.
(3) Any sums paid before the commencement of this
Ordinance to the said George Frederick Jack by way of gratuity
shall be set off against any sums to which he becomes entitled
to be paid under this Ordinance.

Commencement. 3. This Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to

1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the Animals (Diseases and
Importation) (Barbados) (Cancellation) Order, 1968.
2. Cancellation. The Animals (Diseases and Importation) (Barbados)
Order, 1967 (S.R. & 0. 1967, No. 34) is hereby cancelled.


Made by the Administrator in Council under section 14 of the Animals
(Diseases and Importation) Ordinance, 1954 (No. 27 of 1954) this 30th day
