His Honour HYWEL GE,~R(,;E, C.M.G., O.B.E., Administrator
of St. Vincent, left the Colony for the United Kingdom at about
11.00 a.m. on Sunday 28th January, 1968 on an official visit.

ACTING APPOINTMENT.

Consequent on the departure of His Honour HYWEL GEORGE,
C.M.G., O.B.E., on Sunday 28th January, 1968, Mr. JONATHAN
VINCENT ALVES, Permanent Secretary, Chief Minister's Office,
took the prescribed Oaths of Office and assumed the Administra-
tion of the Government of St. Vincent.
