TRAINING COURSE FOR LOCAL
FISHERMEN
Applications are invited from fisher-
men in St. Vincent and the St. Vincent
Grenadines to attend a training course
for fishermen in 1967. The Course is
being organised in connection with the
United Nations Fisheries Project in the
Caribbean. The Training will take
place in the Eastern Caribbean.
2. Applicants should be between
18 and 40 years of age and should be
actively engaged in the fishing industry.
3. Trainees will spend about 3 or
4 months on one of the vessels owned
by the United Nations Fisheries Project
stationed in the Eastern Caribbean, at


the end of which they will attend a
shore-based Course. Following the
shore-based Course they will return to
the vessel for further on-the-job train-
ing at sea. The full training period
will last about one year.
4. Trainees will receive an allow-
ance of $125.00 per month and passages
to and from the vessel will be paid.
5. For further details contact the
Permanent Secretary Ministry of
Trade, Production, Labour and Tour-
ism, Kingstown.
6. Applications stating age, educa-
tional background and experience along
with two testimonials must be submit-
ted to reach the Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Trade and Production,
Kingstown, not later than 30th Nov-
ember, 1966.

has approved the following new rates
for the following services provided by
this Department.

Supply of fresh water to ships:
500 per 100 gallon or $1.12 per ton
of 224 gallons.

For use of the 15 tons Mobile Link
Belt Crane:
$1.00 per ton capacity per hour or
part thereof (i.e $15.00 per hour)
with a minimum charge of $20.00.
These new rates are effective from
Tuesday 25th October, 1966.

NOTICE is hereby given that an
application was made on the 26th day
of September, 1966 by CONZINC
RIOTINTO of AUSTRALIA LIMITED
a company incorporated under the
Laws of the State of Victoria, of 95
Collins Street, Melbourne, Manufac-
turers and Commonwealth Scientific
and Industrial Research Organisation
for a PATENT in respect of an in-
vention entitled "PRODUCTION OF
ALUMINIUM AND ALUMINIUM
ALLOYS".
This invention was made by Ernest
Foley and George Lang Herwig of the
Commonwealth of Autralia who assign-

Badran, a citizen of Jordan, Richard
Earl Woodruff and Lorenzo George
Wilson, both citizens of the United
States of America whose Post Office

Company, LaLima, Honduras, for the
registration of two Patents in respect
of TWO Inventions entitled "STOR-
AGE OF PRODUCE (PLANT FOODS
CASE II)" and "STORAGE OF PRO-
DUCE (PACKING PERISHABLE
PRODUCE, CASE III)".
These Inventions were made by the
said Adnan Mohammed Badran, Citizen
of Jordan, Richard Earl Woodruff and
Lorenzo George Wilson, both citizens
of the United States of America who
deposed to the fact that they are the
first Inventors thereof and declared the
same before the British Vice Consulate.
on the 18th April, 1966 at San Pedro,
