VACANT POSTS.

VACANCIES FOR
DISTRICT MEDICAL OFFICERS,
GOVERNMENT OF ST. VINCENT,
WEST INDIES.

Applications are invited from quali-
fied Medical Officers to fill vacant posts
of District Medical Officer, St: Vincent,
West Indies.
2. Appointment: The posts are pen-
sionable, but appointment may be on
contract for a period of 3 years in the
first instance. In the case of a contract
appointment a gratuity of 121/2% of
salary is payable on the satisfactory
completion of the contract.
3. Salary: Salary is in the scale
$5,280 X 240-$6,240/$6,480 X 240
-$7,440. Commencing salary will be
determined according to qualifications
and post-qualification experience. Pri-
vate practice is permitted, provided that
it does not interfere with the proper
performance of the officer's official
duties.
4. Further information as to the
duties of the post of District Medical
Officer and conditions of service is ob-
tainable on request from:-

St. Vincent.
5. Applications giving personal data
and accompanied by two recent testimo-
nials should be forwarded to the Chief

PRODUCTION, LABOUR AND
TOURISM.
DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR.

(MIGRANTS' EMPLOYMENT SERVICE.)

Persons who are interested in being
considered tor selection for employment
in Canada as HOUSEHOLD WORK-
ERS are invited to submit applications
in their own handwriting to the Depart-
ment of Labour, Kingstown by 7th
May, 1966. The standard of education
attained by the applicants and any
training and experience they may have
in household work should be stated.
Applicants must be of the female sex,
between the ages of 21 and 35 years of
age, single and without children. Per-
sons selected must themselves stand the
expense of their passage to Canada.
Those persons who applied this year
to be considered for selection for em-
ployment under this scheme need not
make another application. Those who
applied in previous years and wish to
be considered again should indicate this
in writing to the Department.

Vehicles entering Victoria Park be-
tween the hours of 10.30 a.m. to
5.30 p.m. daily from Sunday 8th May
to Sunday 22nd May 1966, will conform
to a system of One Way Traffic which
has been arranged.

Vehicles will enter Victoria Park by
way of Peebles Bridge. Vehicles travel-
ling along this route will proceed from
South to North Only.
MOTOR VEHICLE EXIT
Exit will be by way of Bentinck
Square and Road to Leeward.
PARKING
Motor Vehicles will park on the road
outside the Park enclosure and on the
open space in front of the Colonial Hos-
pital Annexe as directed by the Police.

ORDER.


(Gazetted 26th April, 1966).


1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Double Tax-
ation Relief) (Switzerland) Order, 1966, and shall be read as one with the
Income Tax (Double Taxation Relief) (Switzerland) Order, 1965 (No. 31 of
1965) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
2. Deletion of words next after Article XXIV (b) of principal Order.
The principal Order is amended by deleting all the words and the sign appear-
ing next after Article XXIV (b) of the First Schedule and by substituting the
following instead:-
"In witness whereof the above-mentioned Plenipotentiaries have
signed the present Convention and have affixed thereto their seals."


Made by the Administrator in Council under the provisions of Section
56 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956) this 19th day of April,
1966.
