The QUEEN received today at Government House, St.
Vincent, Sergeant S. MuAnRPY, Police Driver and presented
him with the R.V.M. (S).

The QUEEN received today on board H.M.Y. BRITANNIA
at St. Vincent the following persons and presented them with
their insignia:-

The following message was received from Her Majesty The
QUEEN by His Honour the Acting Administrator.

From Royal Yacht Britannia
To The Administrator Government House St. Vincent.

I send my warm thanks to you and to the Government and
people of Saint Vincent for the unforgettable welcome which
my husband and I have received while we have been with you
today. Thanks to the admirable programme which you ar-
ranged we have been able to see and to meet many of my
.people in St. Vincent of all ages and I ask you to express our
sincere congratulations to all those, both in Government
employment and in the voluntary organizations, who co-
operated in the day's events which were so interesting and
enjoyable.

The following reply was sent to Her Majesty by His Honour
the Acting Administrator.

Barbados.

With humble duty I offer the sincere thanks of the Gov-
ernment and people of St. Vincent for Your Majesty's kind
message. Your very presence among us yesterday was in-
deed an inspiration to all your loyal subjects in St. Vincent.
Our hope is that Your MAJESTY and PRINCE PHILIP will one
day in the not too distant future be back again with us.
