A PROCLAMATION.

Acting Administrator.

WHEREAS by section 7 of the Bank Holidays Ordinance, Cap. 161, it is
enacted that it shall be lawful for the Administrator in Council from time to
time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, to appoint a special day to be observed as
a Bank Holiday throughout the Colony:

AND WHEREAS it is considered that a holiday should be granted in honour
of the visit of Her Majesty the Queen and of His Royal Highness The Prince
Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to this Colony:

Now THEREFORE I do, in accordance with the advice of the Executive
Council, and pursuant to the authority in me vested by the said Ordinance,
hereby appoint Monday, the 14th day of February, 1966, to be observed as a
Bank Holiday throughout the Colony.

GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Island of Saint Vincent
at Government House in the said Island this 3rd day of February
in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-six
and in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of Her Majesty QUEEN
ELIZABETH THE SECOND.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
