LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
ORDER.

1. Short Title. This Order may be cited as the Lo
District Boundaries (Georgetown) Order, 1965.


2. Georgetown district boundaries defined. For the purposes of the
Local Government Ordinance, 1951, the boundaries of the town of George-
town as a district created under section 5 of the said Ordinance as amended
by the Local Government (Amendment) Ordinance, 1957, are hereby enlarged
and defined as set out in the Schedule hereunder.
SCHEDULE
Commencing from an iron stake at the junction of the North-Western
Boundary of Lot No. 1 of Caratal Village and the lands of Hilda Dick and
the road leading to the Mount Bentinck Factory as shown on a plan numbered
C. 187 prepared by J. B. Kernaham Land Surveyor and dated the 17th day of
May 1898 and lodged in the Surveys Department thence in a southerly
direction along the boundary between the lands of Mount Bentinck Estate
and Caratal Village to the Grand Sable River (North) (also known as the
Mount Bentinck River) thence in a westerly direction along the river to
the junction of the lands of Arthur Bailey and the Cemetery, thence a
southerly direction along the said boundary to the public road leading to
Chili Village, thence easterly along the said road to Jubilee Street as shown
on a plan numbered C. 38 prepared by J. O'Donoghue Land Surveyor and
dated 18th October 1912 and lodged in the Surveys Department, thence
southerly to the junction of the said Jubilee Street and an unnamed street,
thence in a westerly direction along the said unnamed street to a concrete
monument at the junction of the boundary of Cvril Liverpool and Grand Sable
Estate, thence in a southerly direction along the Grand Sable Estate and
SAllotment boundaries as shown on Plans numbered C.261, C3/29 and C.245

prepared by Stinson Campbell Land Surveyor and duly lodged with the
Surveys Department, to the junction of lands of St. Clair Layne and Grand
Sable Estate, thence easterly along the boundary between the said Grand
Sable Estate and the said Allotments across the Windward Highway to the
boundary between the lands of Alfred Dublin and Grand Sable Estate
as shown on a Plan numbered C3/18 prepared by Stinson Campbell Land
Surveyor and duly lodged in the Surveys Department, thence in a northerly
direction along the boundary between remaining lands, of Grand Sable
Estate and the Eastern Boundary of the said Allotments to the junction of
the lands of Leonora Glasgow, Grand Sable Estate and the Old Town
Boundary, thence in an easterly direction along the Old Town Boundary
Line to the Sea, thence in a northerly direction bounding on the Sea, across
the mouth of the Grand Sable River (North) to the junction of the lands of
Hubert Bailey and Ruby Delpeche, thence in a westerly direction across the
Windward Highway and along the road leading to the Mount Bentinck
Factory and bounding the Caratal Village to the iron stake aforementioned
in this schedule.



Made by the Administrator in Council under section 6 (1) of the Local
Government Ordinance, 1951 (No. 17 of 1951) this 11th day of August, 1965.
