It is notified for public information
that the Administrator, by virtue of
the power and authority vested in him
by the Saint Vincent (Constitution)
Order in Council, 1959, has, on the
advice of the Chief Minister, assigned
the department or subject of Housing
to the Chief Minister instead of to the
Minister for Social Services and Educa-
tion as was hitherto the case.

up to 3 p.m. on Monday the 15th day
of July, 1963, must be sealed, and ad-
dressed to the Chairman of the Tenders
Board, Ministry of Finance, Kingstown,

RESOLUTION giving notice of a deci-
sion to prepare a Sixth Supple-
mentary Scheme of the Regional
Scheme for Kingstown and its
surroundings.


Section 10 of the Town and Country
Planning Ordinance of 1946.

The following RESOLUTION which
was passed by the Authority on the
30th day of May, 1963, is published for
general information.

RESOLUTION.

BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby
resolved that the Central Housing and
Planning Authority has this 30th day
of May, 1963, decided to dezone under
the provision of Section 10, of the Town
and Country Planning Ordinance No. 2
of 1946, for the purpose of a Cinema
site, THAT PARCEL of land lying in
the Parish of St. George and known as
Lot 46, and bounded on the North by
the property of Mrs. Mary Linley, on
the East by a Road, on the South by
Bay Street, and on the West by the
Property of Mr. Stephen Russell.

ALTERATION AND AMENDMENT
OF BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN
OF GEORGETOWN.

The residents of the Town of George-
town and of the Georgetown area in
general including Chili and Caratal are
invited to submit Memoranda on the
question of altering and amending the
boundaries of the town of Georgetown
to the Commission appointed by His
Honour the Administrator to consider
this matter.
Other interested persons in the area
are also invited to give evidence before
the Commissioners.
Memoranda should be submitted to
the Commissioners before 24th July,
1963, and should be addressed to the
Secretary, Georgetown Boundaries Com-
mission, c/o Local Government Office,
Kingstown.
The Commission will hold their first
meeting on 6th August, 1963 at 10.00
o'clock in the forenoon, at the Police
Station at Georgetown.

POLICE NOTICES.

The attention of all drivers of Motor
Vehicles and cyclists is drawn to Section
25 (7) (f) of S.R. & O. No. 35/59
which states:-
"When approaching any road junc-
tion if on the near side of the road
along which he is proceeding there is
ereeted a road sign bearing any of the
legends, "Stop", "Stop-Major Road
Ahead", or "Halt-Major Road
Ahead", he shall stop his vehicle before
reaching and as near as possible to, the
line painted upon the near side half of
the surface of such road and shall not
move his vehicle or cause the same to be
moved to the road junction next ahead
until he shall have satisfied himself that


2. It has been observed that drivers
and riders have not been paying atten-
tion to Stop signs and Halt signs. This
is a very dangerous practise and every
effort will be made to discourage such
acts.
Police have been issued with special
instructions to prosecute all persons
found offending.

Order in Council, the Foreign Com-
pensation (Egypt) (Final Distribu-
tion) Order 1963 (S.I. 365 of 1963) was
made on February 27th 1963 and came
into operation on March 4th, 1963. The
new Order cancels and replaces the
previous Interim Distribution Orders.
Interested persons can by appoint-
ment scrutinise the new Order at the
Registry Department.

LAND AND HOUSE TAX DEPARTMENT.

Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned property in the owner-
ship or occupation of the person named hereunder whose name appears on
the District III Tax Roll, years 1957-1962, has become a defaulter under the
"Land and House Tax Ordinance". The said property having been levied upon
will be offered for sale at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 6th July, 1963, at the Inland
