The following is the official Pro-
gramme relating to the ceremonial for
Her Majesty the Queen's Birthday
Parade to take place at the Victoria
Park, Kingstown, on Saturday, 8th
June, 1963.
8.15 a.m.
Parade consisting of the follow-
ing detachments will assemble at
Hillsboro Street and march to Vic-
toria Park.
St. Vincent Police Force with
Band.
Auxiliary Police.
Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Grammar School Cadet Corps.
Boy Scouts.
Girl Guides.
Members of the St. Vincent
Legion of the British Common-
wealth Ex-Servicemen League will
be present at Victoria Park and wvii
stand to the right of Saluting
Point.

AND

IN THE MATTER OF THE ACQUISITION by the Administrator in 'Coir'cil
of a certain parcel of land at Liberty Lodge in the Parish of St. George
for a public purpose.

DECLARATION OF ACQUISITION OF LAND.

(FIRST PUBLICATION.)


WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Land Acquisition Ordinance
1946 (No. 22 of 1946) that if the Administrator in Council considers that any
land should be acquired for a public purpose he may cause a declaration to
that effect to be made:

AND WHEREAS it is considered by the Administrator in Council that the
undermentioned parcel of land should be acquired for a public purpose, to wit,
the erection of a Public School for the Lodge Village area:

Now IT Is HEREBY DECLARED by His Honour the Administrator acting in
accordance with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of Saint
Vincent that upon the Second Publication of this Declaration in the Gazette all
that parcel of land at Liberty Lodge in the Parish of St. George the property
of Heirs Johnathan Clarke measuring 43,621 square feet in area and bounded
on the North by the Public Road on the South and East by the remaining
lands of the said Heirs 'of Johnathan Clarkis and partly by a 6 ft. wide track
haTl vest 'absolutely in the Cro in.

AND IT IS HERRBY FURTHER DECLARED AND NOTIFIED that a plan bearing
the Number G3/44 showing the above mentioned parcel of land has been pre-
pared by L. W. Sandy Licensed Land Surveyor and lodged on the 4th day of
September 1958 at the Lands and Surveys Department of Kingstown in the
said Colony and can be inspected at all reasonable hours at the said Department.

VACANT POSTS.

Applications are invited from Quali-
fied Laboratory Technicians or persons
who hold the Cambridge Overseas
School Certificate or the General Certi-
ficate of Education for the vacant post
of Technician, Laboratory, Colonial
Hospital.


The salary paid to a Technician will
be in the scale $1,860 X $96-$2,292
X $144-$2,580. The post is pension-
able.
A successful candidate with no pre-
vious knowledge of Laboratory work
will commence as a Student Technician,
and receive training (which includes a
6 months' course in Trinidad) for three
years, at salary in the scale $720 X $30
-$750 X $36-$894 X $48-$942.
In either category consideration may
be given to payment of salary above
the minimum according to experience,
usefulness or any other circumstance.
Applications stating age, qualifica-
tions and experience should be sub-
mitted along with two recent testimon-
ials to the Chief Secretary, Government
Office not later than 10th June, 1963.

stallations) Public Works Department.
The post is pensionable with salary in
the scale $1,668 X $96-$2,148. A
Minimum of five years experience in
a responsible position is required.

the appointment. Further information
is available from the Superintendent
'of Public Works, Kingstown.
