Town Board in place of the Rev.
PATTERSON DEANE for the remainder of
the life of the present Board, that is
until 31st December, 1964 and with re-
trospective effect from 1st April, 1963.

RELEASE.

SHORT TERM VISITS BY SENIOR
EDUCATIONISTS.

The Secretary for Technical Co-
operation in the United Kingdom has
announced Schemes for the provision of
awards by members of the Common-
wealth Liaison Committee to enable
Senior Educationists from Common-
wealth countries to visit Australia, New
Zealand, Federation of Rhodesia and
Nyasaland, and Britain during 1963.
2. In Australia visitors will make a
guided tour of educational institutions
and observe practices relevant to his
work at home.
3. In New Zealand three schemes
are available to workers in Educa-
tion:-
Prestige Fellowships, Administrative
Scholarships and Mutual Aid Pro-
gramme Awards.
4. The Scheme of awards by the
Federal Government of Rhodesia and
Nyasaland is operated on the basis of
bilateral arrangements with other Com-
monwealth Governments.
5. In Britain there are two Schemes
under which Senior Educationists are
enabled to visit Britain:-The British
Council Visitors Programme and Cate-
gory B of the Commonwealth Univer-
sities Interchange Scheme.
6. Further information about these
Visitors Programmes can be obtained
from the Acting Education Officer,
Education Department, Kingstown.

of the Customs Warehouse, Kingstown
in accordance with drawings and speci-
fications therefore which may be perused

tween the hours 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Monday to Friday and on Saturday
from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
Tenders must be accompanied by
detailed estimates for materials, labour,
transportation, etc.
Plans and specifications may be ob-
tained from the Superintendent of
Public Works upon application and
payment of a fee of $10.00.
Tenders which will be received up to
3.00 p.m. on Friday 17th May, 1963
must be sealed and addressed to the
Chairman, Public Tenders Committee,
