As a result of the enactment of Exchange Control legislation in British
Guiana, movements of currency notes by travellers from that Territory to other
Territories participating in the Currency Agreement appear t. have become
abnormal since 1962 and the circulation in some Territories, on the basis of
issues less withdrawa'ls, adjusted to take account of Bank transfers, hasin
consequence become unrealistic and in fact misleading.
