TENDER FOR DEMONSTRATION
BOAT.

Tenders are hereby invited and will
be received up to 3.00 p.m. on 6th
September, 1962, for the construction of
one (1) 25-foot Demonstration Fishing
Boat in accordance with plans and spe-
cifications prepared therefore.
These plans may be seen at the De-
partment of Agriculture between the
hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily except
Wednesday when the hours are from
9 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
Tenders are to be addressed to
"Chairman Tenders Board", Ministry
of Finance, Ministerial Building, Kings-
town, and the envelopes are to be
marked distinctly "Tender for Demon-
stration Fishing Boat".


Government does not bind itself to
accept the lowest or any tender.

It is hereby notified for general
information that as from today 20th
August, 1962, and until further notice,
the Kingstown Jetty now under recon-
struction will be closed to sloops and
other vessels engaged in coastal trade
for the purpose of landing and taking
passengers and cargo.

NOTICE TO MASTERS OF SHIPS
NAVIGATING WITHIN THE
KINGSTOWN HARBOUR.

It is hereby notified for general
information that construction work on
the new deep water pier at the Port of
Kingstown, St. Vincent, is about to
commence.
All Masters of ships and other per-
sons in charge of small craft navigating
within the Port are requested to be ex-
tremely cautious especially when ap-
proaching their moorings.
Dredgers and other marine equipment
will be operating within the area and
mariners are reminded to be on the alert
for notices which will be issued from
time to time giving information as to
the restriction of anchorage ground.

for each District of the Colony will,
after 30th day of June 1962 be available
for inspection by the Public at the

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES ORDINANCE, 1952 (NO. 5 OF 1952).

In pursuance of the requirements of Section 3 (2) (a) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952, it is hereby notified for general informa-
tion that the Administrator-in-Conncil proposes to make the undermentioned
Order under Section 3 (1) of the said Ordinance.

Any person who objects to tlie making of such Order shall give notice
in writing of his objection, and of the grounds on which he relies in support
thereof, to the Clerk of the Executive Council on or before the 11th day of
September, 1962.

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES (MANUFACTURE OF MOTOR
VEHICLE BATTERIES) ORDER.

1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer Industries
(Manufacture of Motor Vehicle Batteries) Order, 1962.

2. Declaration of Pioneer Industry. The establishment, maintenance
and operation in the Colony of plant for the assembling of the component
parts and building of motor vehicle batteries is hereby declared to be a
pioneer industry for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance,
1952, No. 5 of 1952, and manufactured motor vehicle batteries are hereby
declared to b- pioneer products for the said purposes.

Made by the Administrator-in-Council under Section 3 (1) of the Aid to
Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1952 (No. 5 of 1952) this day
of 1962.
