It is hereby notified for general information that in the event of a hurricane
threatening or approaching the Island, the following warnings will be given:-


(1) A red flag with a black rec-
tangular centre will be flown
on Police Headquarters.
(2) Loud Speaker and Radio'
announcements.
(3) Three saluting guns will be
fired.

BOAT.

Tenders are hereby invited and will
be received up to 3.00 p.m. on 16th
August, 1962, for the construction of
(1) one 25 foot Demonstration Fishing
Boat in accordance with plans and
specifications prepared therefore.
These plans may be seen at the De-
partment of Agriculture between the
hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily except
Wednesday when the hours are from
9 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
Tenders are to be addressed to "Chair-

Finance, Ministerial Building, Kings-
town, and the envelopes are to be
marked distinctly "Tender for Demon-
stration Fishing Boat".

WIIEREAS it is enacted by section 46 of the Saint Vincent (Constitution)
Order in Council, 1959, that the Administrator, acting in accordance with the
advice of the Chief Minister, may at any time by Proclamation published in
the Ga::rtte prorogue the Legislative Council of Saint Vincent:
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Legislative Council of Saint Vincent
should be prorogued:
Now THEREFORE, I, acting in accordance with the advice of the Chief Minister,
do hereby prorogue the said Council on Wednesday, the 1st day of August, 1962:
AND the members of the said Legislative Council and all other Her
Majesty's Officers and loving subjects in the said Colony and all others whom
it may concern, are hereby required to take due notice hereof, and to give their
ready obedience accordingly.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Saint Vincent,
at the Government Office in the said Colony this 28th day of July,
One thousand nine hundred and sixty-two and in the Eleventh year
