to be Puisne Judge of the Windwarl Islands and Leeward Islands, is published
for general information.
This Commission supersedes that published at Notice No. 70 in the Gazette
of 13th March, 1962.

WHEREAS by subsection (2) of section 4 of the Windward Islands and
Leeward Islands (Courts) Order-in-Council, 1959, it is provided that Puisne
Judges of the Supreme Court constituted thereby shall be appointed by the
Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Judicial and Legal
Service Commission:
Now THEREFORE KNOW that by virtue of and under the authority duly
vested in the Governor-General of the Federation, I, HARVEY LLOYD DACOSTA,
Acting Governor-General of the Federation of The West Indies, acting on the
recommendation of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission, hereby appoint
you the said ELVIN ST. BERNARD to be a Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court

of February, 1962, with all the powers, functions, jurisdiction and authority

take due notice thereof and to govern themselves accordingly.

EXPORTATION OF BAMBOO.

The Commissioner for the West Indies
in Canada has informed the Ministry
of Trade and Production that there has
been an urgent enquiry from a Cana-
dian Firm regarding the purchase in
St. Vincent of as much as seventy thou-
sand (70,000) feet of bamboo with a
minimum diameter of two inches.
Persons and firms interested in this
queryv should consult with the Principal
Secretary, Ministry of Trade and Pro-
duction, Ministerial Building, Kings-
town, as early as possible.

The Windward Islands Banana Growers' Association invites scaled tenders
for the following quantities of fertilizers to be delivered to the islands of St.
Lucia, St. Vincent and Grenada during the period July to December, 1962, as
specified below:-

BANANA PRICE INCREASE.

It is hereby notified that the Green Boat Price is being increased by
7 to 67. 5. 0 per ton as from Monday the 14th May 1962.
Accordingly, after consultation with the Minister for Trade & Production,
the Board of Management have decided that a price of four and one half cents
per lb. will be paid to the grower as from the shipment scheduled to take place
on or about Tuesday/Wednesday the 15th & 16th May, 1962.
