NOTICE OF ACQUISITION.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Land Acquisition Ordinance
1946 (No. 22 of 1946) that if the Administrator in Council considers that any
land should be acquired for a public purpose he may cause a declaration to that
effect to be made:
AND WHEREAS it was considered by the Administrator in Council that the

the erection of a catcliuent to supply sprillg water for public use:
AND W1HEREAS by declaration published in the Gazette on the 28th day of
November and 5th day of December 1961 it was declared that the said parcel of
land at Reversion in the Parish of St. Patrick the property of Heirs of Benjamin
Quow measuring 1875 square feet inl area and bounded on tile North by the
Lammies River on the South. East and West by the remlaianing lands of the Heirs
of Benjamin Quow was required for a public purpose and should vest absolutely
in the Crown upon the Second Publication of the said Declaration to that effect
in the Gazette:
AND WHIIEREAS it was further declared and notified that a plan of the said
land bearing the number P1/62 and prepared by C. E. Williams Licensed Land
Surveyor was lodged for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Lands and

Surveyor was lodged for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Lands and
Surveys Department of Kingstowni in the Colony of St. Vincent on the 9th day
of October 1961:

Now THIS Is To REQUIRE all persons interested to render to the Authorised
Officer at the said Lands and Surveys Department as soon as is reasonably
practicable a statement in writing signed by them or their Attorneys or Agents
setting forth the amounts and full particulars of their claim for compensation
in respect of their interest in the land here-in-before described distinguishing
the amounts under separate heads and showing how the amount claimed under
each head is calculated.

ceive salary at an appropriate point
in the scale depending on qualifica-
tions and experience. Preference
